I would like to see Marek Mintal play for the reds. He is a maginicent player who can play att mid or striker.......he was the top goalscorer in Germany this year and is some player........he can bang the goals in unlike the rest of our strikers (Fowler being excluded from that of course)

I think we need to replace Cisse with another quick striker - Owen or Defoe?
We need another strong / physical forward to go with Crouch - Kuyt?
A right winger (or 2) - Shaun Wright-Phillips (won't happen) / Pennant
Another good young centre half - Anton Ferdinand / Ledley King?

It's far too early to say, who in the summer would have predicted that in this transfer window we'd buy a 20 year old centre half from Denmark and a 30 year old living legend from Man City

I don't think any of us will have much doubt now that Owen will be back at Anfield in the summer. The farce that is Newcastle probably won't have a permanent manager and I reckojn Owen will use this as a suitable excuse to action the £12m clause in his contract and return home.
Rafa said he wanted him and in the summer he will go out and get him!!
