Summer transfers

Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

I wouldn't mind seeing Trezeguet here next season.  The guy has had some injury problems, but he could be a great addition to the squad if we could get him for cheap.

I´d rather have Anelka.  Trezeguet is too used to the pace of Italian football.

Of course, a right winger should be a priority, I think, so maybe we should be going after someone like Santi Cazorla, Jesus Navas or Kuba instead. Then again, if there really is a chance of getting Silva, I'd be gutted if we didn't go in for him...

I don't think Navas will ever leave Sevilla

Navas suffers from cronic home sickness so cant even play for spain let alone leave the country

you serious mate ? how do you know that ?

Fantastic player though

remember them talking about it on spanish footy hgighlights on sky a while ago

Rafa Benitez is eyeing up Blackburn’s in-demand striker Roque Santa Cruz.

Liverpool boss Benitez, given a huge £30m transfer kitty this summer, could be ready to rival Manchester City for the Paraguayan centre forward.

Benitez is keeping close tabs on Santa Cruz, 27, to strengthen his strike force and to work as a possible foil for Fernando Torres.

City bid £20m for Santa Cruz in the summer and manager Mark Hughes wants him - but the Eastlands boss is under huge pressure himself.

Liverpool have been scouting and reporting to Benitez on Santa Cruz who would prefer Champions League football to what City could offer him as Blackburn prepare to launch a big money auction this summer.

Benitez has already targeted Valencia’s David Silva as a big-money buy but Santa Cruz is on his radar in what would be a major shock but shows the level of Liverpool’s ambition.

Anelka is very good, but he has a very poor attitude at times.  Trezeguet however is an excellent professional, who is just on another level.  One of the best strikers of all time.

For LB the future is Insua so im not too concerned but at RB we all saw last night how sloppy Arbeloa can be at times. Infact he seems too casul most of the time, he was just actually made to pay for it last night. A solid RB is a must buy in the summer.

Apparantly Rafa will only have 25Mil to spend in the summer and any more will have to come from selling first.
