We won't get any more than £15/16 million tops for Alonso imo, paying £18million for Barry is crazy in our current financial situation. I think the saga has dragged on far too long, and our priorities should be elsewhere anyway.

According to Manhattan's sources, Aston Villa rejected Man Utd's bid of 25M for Gareth Barry.

When asked for a quote, MON said that if Ronaldo is worth 70M, then surely Gareth Barry is worth around the same.

if we're really bothered about our reputation as a club anymore, i think we should publicly cool our interest in gareth parry until the t!t hands in a transfer request. he is good but our pursuit of him has become embarrassing - he's no maradona... just a sh!tter version of gerrard but kicks with his left foot.
