Barry for alonso, milner for pennant?

So we are probably bringing in Barry for Alonso, and Milner for Pennant...am I the only one who thinks both of these moves are weakening rather than strengthening the team?  Since when did we become Newcastle?  Unless we are saving our money for another Torres and Babel swoop, there's nothing here to suggest any squad improvement over last season...

The rules/ethos of this forum (not mine) dictate that you do not open random or repeated topics of discussion.

It also stipulates that all rumours and gossip are kept in the right area.

Articles from newspapers are useless at the best of times, (more often than not the individual journalists (often prejudiced) spin on a quote or two), however stories without quotes are total rubbish.

Remember this in future.
