Forget Bale we have Arbeloa and JAR as far as im concerned were covered at left back for a few years we need to concentrate on the wings, personally i would love to see Simao and Quaresma in a liverpool shirt

...as much as i'd love that- the time to buy Alves was last season when we had to go for Pennant instead. His price is so high now i can only see him going to Barca to stay in the Spanish league or maybe even Chelsea for the pay-day.

I'd be surprised if Rafa goes all out to sign him- happy but surprised.

Having a person that had scouted players like Walcott and Bale cant be bad. If that can influence Gareth Bale to join us rather than anyone else then thats great.

The only problem i have is the amount of money we wll have to spend to get him to liverpool
