he was INJURED!

for the last fecking time

Never checked the squad news, mate. Is it 100000000000001.1% positive that he was injured?

knee injury

I doubt very much that Rafa would leave a fit Torres out of the squad altogether when our next game isnt til monday

I don't believe he's injured.

well I've got news for you, he is

Honestly the anti Rafas will cllutch at anything to blame Rafa. Do you honestly think Rafa would leave out Torres today if he was fully fit? Knowing our next game isn't till next Monday

It's bollocks

whats bollox?

you'll clutch at anything to blame Rafa for. It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest Rafa left a fit Torres out of the squad altogether

It's still bollocks.

Torres isn't injured.

well mate you've done an absolutely crackin job convincing me he's fit, as good a job as Rafa - seems you've got something in common

On the game, I can't fault the performance, and you'd either have to be kind of w"nker to say we played bad, or that the team wasn't trying or well capable of winning. Some games in the season you'll get a day like this when a team will just come and park the bus and hope for a draw at best. That's what Fulham did and they got what they were after. MOTM - their keeper. Had a stormer. Says it all.

I raised the question in September... beat that.  :rasp

In all seriousness City are going to have a very strong squad for next season. I wouldn't be surprised if they have one of the strongest squads in Europe. How do we compete with that? Whatever happens in the summer we need to bring in a lot of quality players in the summer. If we don't then don't even think about getting 4th next season.

Yep. Better still, there's a thread over on RAWK called "time to face facts - we could struggle to make the top four this season," or something like that. That thread there was started around October last year. It's just that some people can see the problems, the real ones, at this club, while others are blinkered and still clamering to a quick sollution, which is impossible in our current state.

Torres could make his way to the bech nicely in benfica match, but do u remember Rooney against Bayern? He couldn't even walk and still managed to play week after and helped his team alot with a confidence boost.. no rafa decides to sit out torres. Id be so glad that he decides to get the hell out caz he cant coach

Citeh spent the money on attacking options, fit players who could play in the premiership. We spent all ours ona  right back and a crock whos never played in the premiership before...

Thats where we have feckde up, we brought badly, VERY badly. We can blame the owners all day, but end of the day the manager didnt spend the money he ahd on the players we needed

So what if we have spent that money on 2 mediocre players instead? Do you think we would have gotten 4th place secured by now? At the end of the day City have bought quality players where as we have bought average players and expect the few quality players we have to paper over the cracks. It doesn't matter what you say mate the point is Rafa never got enough and he has been working with his hands tied behind his back.

Do you think if we got Simao, Silva, Vidic, Barry or whoever else that we would still be where we are?

I think if wed had a manager with a decent sense of what to do he may have said

"Ooooh, wait a minute, we only really have Torres up front. Should I spend all my money on someone who is injured til October... or  do I buy someone who can attack... (then Rafa says) yeah, the injured player, thats the one"

no doubt next season he'll spend 25 million on a left back and then buy 16 youth players and probably annoy another player and make him leave

Maybe you'll f*ck off then, because odds are he'll be still here next season.

yes no other team is mad enough to ask him to be their manager now.

:censored: mate he could walk into most top clubs in Europe whenever he wanted. He will probably be at Madrid next season.

I wouldn't trust Rafa with the 60 mil and I would be extremely furious if the 60 mil is coming from the sale of one of our world class player.

Its no consolation but we played feckin great today and that b@stard Fulham had an 11 man defence for 93 minutes, swartzer is a kunt and was celebrating at the end of the game like they had won the league.

We didnt loose 4th place today we lost it by not winning away from home since Villa away in 2009.

Anyways we played really well and there was some great football onshow if Hodgeson takes over from Rafa well just feckin shoot me now because if you think Rafa is defensive youve seen nothing like this b@stard in action  :no

FULHAM F.C. ANTI-FOOTBALL !!!!!

Imagine we get through to the final with that shower  ???  :sleep  :shifty  :no
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

Lakes, don't talk complete sh*te, fella. I don't mind you, but at times you talk some extreme amount of cack. Rafa could walk tomorrow and be offered any given job at MASSIVE clubs like Madrid, Inter, AC...take your pick. He'd walk into those jobs. Benitez job here is a lot more difficult than what it would be at any of those, and that's a fact. The state of this club in the way that it's been run in the last 20 or more years is nothing but a poisoned chalice for any manager coming in looking to land the league title. We're lucky to have him here. Some of you were looking Roy Hodgson to take over instead of Rafa? Jesus f*ckin wept.

If the money is there Jose will come. At this point though I am more concerned about our ownership and financial situation. If that isn't sorted we won't win anything. In fact no top manager would even entertain managing us.
