20 mins into a game and no match thread 

Ngomoha has some lovely touches. Gonna be a great player he is. Has the hunger for it.

Rio has to take credit for both goals hes causing havoc. Hes so agile that hes making Fulhams defense nervous and they are over committing. Hes exactly what we've missed all season.

Ngomoha been our best player 1st half.

Good first half, we actually put in an effort. Our fittness seemed to be dropping a bit right before our first goal but Rio with an amazing finish lifted us up and was involved in the second goal as well. Fantastic game by the young lad.

In other seasons I'd usually say game over but the way our defence has been this season we definitely shouldn't relax.

Good win that. We struggled in some moments especially at the end it was all Fulham but we managed to keep a clean sheet and more importantly to take the 3 points. With 5th place now confirmed to lead to a CL spot for next season, and with Chelsea playing Man City tomorrow, this was an important match and an important win at the end.

Rio was fantastic and shows promising signs. Thught Virgil was great too, he was under a lot of pressure when our fitness levels dropped (as they usually do) but was behind almost every block and clearence.

I don't think we have a chance against PSG but at least we go in that match after a positive perfermance and result.

For the first time in a LONG time I saw a little bit of encouragement.. I could see little glimpses of how we could win on Tuesday. This is the first time we've properly utilised our fullbacks. Both Frimpong and Robbo overlapped all game giving us so many options in attack. I thought Rio and Salah played well and Wirtz finally had runners to feed. We should definitely start with Szoboszlai and either macca/grav behind Wirtz.. Dom has the legs to do the box to box role which will be crucial against PSGs midfield.

The only changes is make is Macca/Grav for Jones and Ekitike for Gakpo.

Scored 2 and kept a clean sheet so enough on the day to get a win.

Surprised at the starting lineup tbh but thought they played well in the 1st half. Rio was such a threat, central to every attack and not only scored but featured heavily in the second as well. We lost all our threat when he came off. Midfield where better today I thought until we made changes. They started finding more gaps then and we gave up chances that on another day could have cost us. Fitness levels are a big issue in that squad imo. Great that Isak is getting minutes but still looks like Slot doesnt know how to fit him in.

I dont think a repeat of that performance against PSG will get us through tbh. We will need to be much better because they arent Fulham!! I'd be tempted to start Rio. Its a big game for him but Gakpo is currently offering nothing. We really need to step it up if we are to give ourselves a good shot. No point in winning the game if you lose the tie!!

Decent 1st half with two excellent goals against a surprisingly passive Fulham, they stood off us and allowed us to play.
Second half, Fulham showed a bit more in terms of aggression and pressing and we almost reverted to type.
Good to get a win and a clean sheet but I'm not getting carried away.

Good game BUT we played Fulham. Just wait until we face better teams and it will be a different story.

We've had so many false dawns it's pointless looking to deep into any of our performances,the 3 points along with Chelsea losing and Villa drawing can only help our CL aspirations though

Im fine with not winning the league but United being above us is killing me. We have got to reign them in over the last 6 games. Hopefully Leeds do us a favour tomorrow night..

Much needed 3 points for UCL aspirations. Lets hope Slot could at least get that this season.
