Told you all about 5 weeks ago fourth was gone. Probably thought I was talkin balls then too, but even me being the optimist to say that wasn't a clue enough? Some of you still actually thought we'd qualify? We haven't won five on the trot all season. Get some perspective on the reality.

On the game, I can't fault the performance, and you'd either have to be kind of w"nker to say we played bad, or that the team wasn't trying or well capable of winning. Some games in the season you'll get a day like this when a team will just come and park the bus and hope for a draw at best. That's what Fulham did and they got what they were after. MOTM - their keeper. Had a stormer. Says it all.

We cant keep using the "we played well but were unlucky" approach though...

Torres has missed way too many games and we should have made buying another srtiker a top priority.Awesome player but not a lad that will be in your team week in week out.Just too many mistakes in the transfer market over the last few years and in the end it catches up.Trouble is now we will have a job on to get back into that top 4 the way the league shaping up but frankly this day has been on the cards since before Christmas so its not come as a shock.

Honestly the anti Rafas will cllutch at anything to blame Rafa. Do you honestly think Rafa would leave out Torres today if he was fully fit? Knowing our next game isn't till next Monday

that we looked good, we had a manager they did not put the right team out, it now seems that our best player was not left out due to a bad knee, put your radio put your tv on. it seems Rafa is just resting him for the EL games and sticking two fingers up at the paying liverpool fans.

Rafa is just trying to big up his own profile in the EL, he had a bad bit of press the other weeks a few teams turned their backs on him for talks. if he wins the El HE WILL LOOK GOOD AGAIN.

What the point today of setting a tram out like that, we had the ball all the time.
as i said at half time its like having the best army and not giving them guns.

if you talk about the need to buy players then look at bought the ones that did not get the goals today and would you give him more money just to make the same mistake again.?

Injured? are you kidding me? Rooney couldn't walk after he got injured in the last minute in Munich and yet he still managed to play week after when team really needed him. Torres came out nicely and I couldn't see that was a serious injury, but u gotta realize the importance of this game and coaching staff should have done a better job.
