Chelsea did us a massive favour losing to City. All this season the top 6 have have tripped each other up as much as they've needlessly lost points themselves.

Rio has got to play more, yes he'll lose the ball a lot but a lot of the time he'll go past his man too, Kenny lost the ball a lot, any player trying clever things against packed, set and organised defences isnt going to have the best pass completion stats etc. By just dumping it off to the nearest player in a red shirt Kenny could have had flawless pass completion stats through his whole career if he wanted but in his eyes that wouldn't have been passing the ball that would have been passing the buck.
When anyone else in our team and i include the 2026 version of Mo [certainly not the 2018 etc version], but when anyone else gets the ball and runs at a defender be it Gakpo, Mo, Chiesa or whoever you just know they are going to lose it, when Rio runs at someone you know there's a decent chance he'll get by them, that for me is why he has to start. Yes he'll lose it in the wrong area's once or twice and leave us high and dry but he's only just turned 17 and he'll learn from it, the more he plays the more experience he gets the better player he will become which is money in the bank for us for the future.

Look this season is a bust but we can still salvage something by getting into a CL spot (5th will do). We've had similar seasons before. Although all things considered, this season is probably the worst in a while, it doesn't mean that we can't come back stronger in the near future, especially if we still retain a CL spot (and CL money) after a season like this one.

IMO if we just win all of our remaining home games we get CL football. That's C. Palace, Chelsea and Brenford on the last day. IMO it's doable and we should get behind the team to help them get us over the line.

Mate this season is trash all over the board. Getting UCL spot should be straightforward. Typically in previous seasons you'll see a tough fight but this season it's doable. I think we will do it, not by being brilliant and wining majority of our rem games. But by scraping it, just like how we've been all season. Surrounding teams are as trash as us.

Biggest laughter this season would be Arsenal bottling it lol. Even though I hate City winning stuff, I'd rather them then Arteta and Co. Ironically given how even City ain't the same, they could potentially finish the season with a domestic treble. Quality in EPL has been poor this season.

This season has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster, before a ball was kicked considered opinion even amongst rival fans was that we were not only going to win the league there was a good chance we were going to do the quadruple.
To be in this position, well i say that but even now 8 months down the line we still look disjointed and erratic as hell. Nothing has been sorted. Make no mistake this is right up there with the worst seasons in our entire history and i incude the 1950's. To win the league then spend half a billion quid, i repeat half a billion quid on players of genuine quality only to look this bad for months and months on end is so unbelievable its hard to get your head around, it really is hard for your brain to process how it can happen, you can't help but just stand there and shake your head in disbelief. Every other game has been a L. We have been fvcking atrocious.
