No offence but Lakes hasnt got a clue how much Rafa would be getting if he gets the sack.

hey i am not the one say 25-40mil, the other members of the forum are.

am i loving every min of this?   no, it make me very very sad, i love this cluib so much, it has meant so much to me over the years.

you are right in the fact that i have never been his best fan but i have still backed him when it was needed to other fans.

he was never going to be the man to win the prem for us and i said thatthe week even before he got here.

i have always hoped that he would learn from his mistakes but he has NOT.

the press office have been told that Rafa has called all the players in today (not sure if thats the norm in the build up to a CL games)

looks like Rafa going to give them a going over, i think they need to have a look at why players are getting sent off.

You cannot just judge him on this season, alright we've had a poor start but his overall record is still pretty good, there are only 4 trophies a season to play for.

Would people really consider this season a failure if we won the FA Cup and finished 4th?

And the reason is fairly simple..... we're just over a quarter of the way into the season and we're already taking about it being a success if we came in 4th for goodness sake!

We've given up the ghost already and we gave it up without so much as a whimper.

Because it makes you sound fickle and that's for supporters of other clubs.

I never thought we would win the league this season but I must admit we have been poorer than I thought but Rafa has to be given to the end of the season I don't think we would gain anything by sacking him.

I can think of plenty managers I wouldn't want if he did go but the list to replace him is pretty short.

I'm more concerned about our owners long term.

Did anyone think our squad was good/big enough to win the league, whether that's Rafa's fault is debatable but finishing in the top 4 is a must and I think our best chance of doing that is keeping him then if we are unhappy at the end of the season replace him.

Maybe I'm just delusional.
