Kharhaz wrote:I cant believe this topic has gone on as long as it has ! First of all no, sacking him would be stupid. We are in turmoil already, by releasing rafa wouldnt improve the situation one bit. Now, if the title was SLAP HIM, now yes, I can go for that. At the beginning of a game and rafa goes daft by selecting a lineup along the lines of playing Torres on the left wing then yes, Sammy Lee should slap him, no questions asked. Or if we take off players who have more influence in a game rather than someone who isnt then again, a little slap and alls good. But sacking no. Even if we lose to United on sunday, as frustrating as it could be (because we are going to win but sods law may give us a draw) sacking the manager at this time just makes matters so much more worse.
The best thing supporters can do now is just, well, just do their job. Support. Those going on sunday take a load of beach balls, the mancs are so obvious with their "humour" beat them to it but not just beat them totally take the p!ss ! Get one over on them before the match begins, when it does begin show the support this club is well known for and drown them out totally, give them nothing on and off the pitch. Throughout the game sing dance jump whatever, and if at the end we do end up with just a draw, well, we have done our part.
Dazzer wrote:So you think we should sack him after we won Prem ? I don't get ya point ? We can't sack him if we doing bad we can't sack him if he doing good ? so basicly you would have saved your self alot of trouble and just said rafa is unsackable ? confused.

Spending £40 million isnt nothing.
With that £40 million he could of brought in 5 good squad players and he didnt. Rafa brought in England's best right back - yes Glen has turned out to be one of the highlights this season but did we really need him? No.
Aquilani has come in and nobody has seen him either - yes he is injured but we needed a replacement for Xabi straight away not November.
And then we sign a useless Greek centre half - his first game at Bolton summed him up. Useless.
Who would YOU play at rightback, then?
You know full well that if he'd signed a lesser player purely to fill Alonso's position immediately you would slate him for that, too. "Oh, he should have waited and bought the right player, yadda, yadda, yadda..."
Rafa wanted Turner, you dick. The owners said "no".
Did he have to sell Arbeloa? No he didnt he sold him to bring Glen in.
Instead of swearing everytime you post put your very small footballing brain into gear and think things through.
*Now awaits f.....g loon etc.*

All of which would improve our current squad and surely would of chosen Liverpool over the teams they are at now.
If Rafa goes, I would like a manager that appreciates the quality of English players.
Turner cost 12Mil didn't he? Cattermole would have been a good buy for us. Would easily keep Lucas out of the squad imo.
Yeah but Rafael only had 1.5 million to spend so you have to point the finger at whoever provides the money - the owners.
Only cos he wasted 20 mil on a player who ain't even fit.Omg you talk such bullsh.it.

What I have said is, to sack him now would make things worse. Im as frustrated as everyone else and I mentioned this a bit ago in a different thread. But the one thing we have to do as supporters is simply stand by what we have. There are so many aspects at this club which can be blamed, but standing their and booing isnt helping, sitting here and bitching is also not helping. What we can do as supporters is do what we do best and support and lift the team as best we can. By all means express your frustration but do so after exhausting yourself of all support. I did so as have many others but come sunday, we will all be their praying for a victory over the mancs, praying for a performance. My point wasnt about sacking the manager, it was mainly about being stuck in a rut and as supporters, we can lift ourselves by doing our bit by the club.

If you sack him they will be lining up mate I don't care who is running our club people want to manage it , Its in the top 3 greatest clubs in world so who the feck would turn it down ?
With no money to spend, and a pair of bickering idiots like Waldorf and Statler in charge....personally, I can't see a rush of applicants...Dunno where YOU think they're gonna come from...
Managers love challanges and if Rafa went tomorrow its the sort of challange that can turn a manager into a ledgend and thats what would bring them. Its win - win for any manager who would come in if they fail blame the owners if they win something they go down heroes of world football.
I was thinking last night about martin yol what you think , I think he is little gem of a manager he built that spurs team and look how well its performing now.

We have parted with £5m for Aquilani so far you dork.
Where's the other £27m from Alonso's sale?
You're boring me now - nothing but speculation and your own imagination.

As far as I can see, so far you have suggested managers far, far inferior to Rafa as his replacement and when your sheer idiocy has been pointed out to you, you've stuck your fingers in your ears and gone "Lalalalalalalala".
There is no discussion. There is you and your like-minded fools whining like a group of schoolgirls forced into P.E. in their underwear and then there's the few on here who have a brain.
Get it?

A limit to my faith? you really should read through the topics on here, I now get Bigmicks frustration, opinions are not limited to just one topic raised.
