Shut up cisse's world class! - Soft lad cant be a red!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I was at the game on Saturday & all I can say is that Cisse never hid never bottled a move or faded, he was class. Third best player on the pitch after Garcia & Stevie. I've heard some things recently but to compare Cisse with Plank Heskey is the most stupid thing I've ever read on here! Cisse will score 20 goals this season & that'll be about 10 more than "fat boy" Rooney. Dont slag your own players when they're doing well & putting in 100% get to a game & see for yourself.

why u creating a thread to slate an ex player ok heskey could of done more but he's still one of my favourite players and on the point  cisse needs time to get use to the style of the english game. are u that confdient he will score 20 goals cus im condfdient he will prove to be a hit but im not sure he will care the burden of bein owen replacment. auxerre had kallon i think as the main striker with cisse the 2nd striker

so far cisse has been golden, or i guess a better expression would be a diamond in the rough, time and time again he has made chances, not just by being in the right position but by making his own oppurtunities. I would say he is on pace to just under 15 goals this season. That figure is very low because he still needs time to adjust.  When he reaches stride, he could get 20+ a season.  Now another matter that i'd like to point out is Baros.  I say dump him. If rooney could fetch 27.5 million, and Baros had a better tournament than him. Why not sell him? Looking at him this season he has been fairly selfish in trying to blow past that last defender when a quick drop off pass to stevie, cisse, or even kewell would have resulted in a goal.  He consistently plays selfishly. Maybe the expectations are set too high, as the "successor to Owen.  Maybe sell him now while we can get 15+ for him, and maybe pull in some experience into our forwards, or maybe a new fullback.

It amazes me the performances he puts in for Liverpool compared to cz rep. I think theres been a switch, and the real Baros is managing Fulham and you have chris coleman up front

yes but he missed the target with 3 chances!

listen 14million pounds is a lot of dosh, and dont say you KNOW for a fact hes gonna score 20, as you dont know what will happen.

he's ok, but has a lot to prove. listen garcia has only played 2 games and you can see the immediate impact, a sign of class.

catch my drift. if youve watched all the games so far at anfield, and elsewhere you will see he has missed a stack of chances. the rehersals are over CIsse, its time to perform!

I think Cisse needs to settle, he looks like a great striker from his record at Auxerre so give the lad time and he'll show everyone how good he is as it's early days yet!!! :;):

you judging cisse to be world class on a couple of games i don't think  cisse will score alot of goals he needs to be 2nd striker cus he won't score 20 + goals a season. he will score 10 ish goals if we could get any of these mista, adriano or torres they could all be the main striker and cisse will shine but he's currently holding the burden of bein the main striker and the top dog

The early indications are that Cisse will be a good player for Liverpool, but may not transcend into being a great player. It is hard to arrive at a new club and be instantly expected to take over from a departing star, maybe we are expecting too much of Cisse ?

And a lot of expectation, New Manager, New Season, New Challenges etc. Club with a great heritage and not much of a current record, demanding public and lot's of immediate pressure. Wow! the new manager and team are sure going to 'earn their corn' this term.
