Where do the CL semis fit into that programme Cigs?

28th-29th April and 5th-6th May

So around the Newcastle and West Ham games it looks like. We should be able to beat Newcastle at home with a weakened squad. West Ham away will be tricky but we need to win that too. I think the 2nd leg of the semi is at home as well.

Anyway no use talking about the CL yet we have a mountain to climb first.

So is the general consensus on the forum that we hope united go through to the semis of the Champions league? I would imagine so.

If these lose the league because of fixture congestion, yes.

stuff that! not a chance, I want them to go out as soon as, they've won both before, fixture congestion obviously isn't enough for them. Hope they go out on Wednesday

Sometimes you have to compromise, I´d give them the CL to get the league.

I really don't think they're capable of winning the champions league this year, lets say for instance United meet Arsenal in the semis this year those two games would take a lot out of united and would be a disadvantage for them when it comes to the league.

On the other hand if they get knocked out on wednesday i'd be happy too.

My head says United to go through but my heart tells me otherwise, either way i think it's a win win situation for us.

I hope Manure go through and then get their asses kicked by Arsenal, the more fixtures they have the better for us. In a weird way I almost hope we get knocked out but then again I want number 6 so I hope we can crush the chavs and then humiliate Barcelona in the semis and then bring on the manc scum in the final, just imagine if we were to win both league and CL.  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

i think out of the next two fixtures we have to harder games if we can come out of that without dropping points then i think our last 4 games are easier then utds and chelseas
but we just have to take it one game at a time keep winning and they will drop points

Unfortunately, getting to the semi final won't really affect United's league performances imo. They probably won't be anywhere near ther best but you know how utterly inept other premiership teams are. I think we've got a good chance of keeping our end of the bargain up and winning every game now but i just can't trust the other sides to take points of the scum, no matter how sh#t they play.

I was going to post something along those lines. I can see us winning all of our games but as far as Man U dropping two games I just cant see it  :(

Just had a look at the Mancs fixtures, there arent many occasions where they get a week to rest. They seem to have a lot of midweek games. They play Boro away on the Sunday and Arsenal away on the Tuesday. I reckon this may jus work in our favour, but only time will tell...
