Dont assume he means that we are interested in signing Eto'o from this exerpt, he only means that this question will be addressed by him in the near future. I like to have SWP at LFC too BUT there is no fabrication to that report and the Daily Mail have 'been saying we should sign SWP or years' as well....

Would he even want to leave Man City? I think his 1st team place is safe even once they bring in more players in the summer. I think he would do well here though.

the sunday S*n has got utd going in for ribery and chelsea bidding £5m for Adam Johnson. :angry:

Ribery is amazing, but out of our price range... but we should def be in for adam johnson, who would be a snip at £5m considering he's young, english and has prem experience

Hearing Henry to premier league rumours. if he comes here would be good in 2 ways. Very good player, to unlock park the bus teams and 2nd is he can be a great mentor to our henry look alike babel and also to some extent ngog and also many of our academy kids...

I was reading that he can buy out his contract for as little as 2 million thus villa can't sell him for much if he doesn't sign so maybe around 5 to 6 million at most . We should have splashed out on young when we had the chance .

Silva uninterested in Liverpool move

Valencia midfielder David Silva has pledged his future to the cash-strapped La Liga club, despite ongoing speculation linking him with a summer switch to Liverpool.

The Spanish international - along with club team-mate David Villa - have both been touted as potential new recruits for Rafa Benitez's outfit at the end of the season.

However, with Benitez himself ruling out a move for the highly-rated Euro 2008 winner coupled with the Mestalla outfit securing finances to pay their players' salaries, Silva has announced he has no plans to leave Los Che.

“I am under contract with Valencia for many years to come,” Silva told As.

“What I desire is complete my contract with the club. I am delighted to be a Valencia player.”
