We've got no chance in the league so i just went for Europe..

If we did i would have still gone for Europe...

Beating them in a final... ooo yeaaa

I have gone for europe cos all tho we would win the league before hand I don't think I could get over them beating us in europe when that game would be telivised to the rest of Europe and we would then finish our season there and then and they would be gloating and they would be the first team to win back to back european cups.

I wanna win the league of couse i do but i just cant get my head around the fact of being beaten in a European cup final by the Mancs, im afraid that would haunt me, just imagine it would be on the fecking telly for years, It would be in the official things that they have registerd Mancs v Liverpool 2009. Mancs winners, It would be rammed down out throats for years

Nah im afraid i cant have that the league will have to wait till next season .

Ive finaly decided now i just couldnt take being beaten by them in a FINAL especialy the European cup.
So im deffo for the last time going with US TO BATTER THEM IN ROME

41 to 13 in favour of the league so far, that's around about the ratio i was expecting. The league of course is the answer we should all have given but for some (me included), it's a no-brainer really but the thought of losing to the mancs in a final of that magnitude is just too great to bear.

Why do we have no chance in the league ? there is still a chance we can win the league - yes it is in manure hands but there is still a possibility we can win

Unless this is some sort of reverse psychology

Don't you hate the mancs winning the league? Just 16 years ago they were 18-7 behind us on league titles, that for me is the clincher.

And even if they were to win a European Cup, they'd be 19-17 behind and 5-4 behind so basically behind. Once we have that first Premiership to our names, we should hopefully be able to begin contending it every season and we're already better in Europe than the mancs

Even if we won the European Cup and beat them in the final, I'd still be disappointed we didn't win the league - not that I expect us to, it's just that is what I want us to win.

Losing to the mancs is bad end of story. If it is something as big as the league of CL that makes it even worse. If we win the CL this season that will be great but we will still be saying next season yes but we need to win the league. The league is what we should always be striving for first and foremost.

In either of these senarios the mancs would still be getting closer to us so I pick the league. Besides we have always been a force in Europe under Rafa so I have no doubts that this will remain the same. Infact come the summer when we strengthen more we will surley have enough squad depth to seriously challange for both next year.

But this year I would take the league ahead of the CL.
