Starting to get itchy though now. I wanna see Torres back in the squad getting amongts the goals. I know its good we can pull of these results and maintain our position without him but he is such a big player for us.

We all do mate! But the thing is he is too important to rush back.
Only when hes 100% ready..we need him fit to the end when he comes back, not injured again!

They are doing a good job of it too despite it still being 0-0. Villa will do well to hang onto both Agbonlahor and A Young over the next few years. Id love that A Young at Liverpool. He would fit on the right just perfect.:)

Lovely day at the office for the lads today.  Dominated the match from start to finish, got the earlyish goal to take the pressure off and scored 2 fantastic team goals to seal the 3 points and stay top of table at the halfway point of the season.  There were some fine performances today, especially from Keane who is starting to look like the player we knew he could be.  I really liked the look of Insua today and I thought Carra was quality on the right flank as well.  Benayoun's jinky little runs and committed tracking back were positives today and Stevie and Xabi were very effective at pulling the strings, switching play and surging forward for the 2 second half goals.  Riera was strong in possession as ever and took his goal well, after fluffing his lines on an earlier corner.  Finally, applause for Sami and Agger for getting forward on occasion and playing some good stuff.  I enjoyed that performance and it's nice to put in a commanding performance at Anfield once more.  Long may it continue! :buttrock

Shame that we did not pay that little extra for him a couple of season backs , we missed out on a quality player just like we did with simao and alves .

Imagine how he would benefit with players like gerrard , alonso and masch in the side rather than sidwell , petrov . According to MON he's worth 30 million now ashley young  :D , where he gets this figures for his players i don't know

How is it not in English?  Replace Stoke with New Castle and it makes sense.
