There was groan in the boozer when we saw the line-up and considering the only difference to our team prediction was lucas instead of alonso..says it all and he played like we expected. I have to say theres too many boring struggles at home this season, I worry that I'm not watching champion material.
that was. We are not Manure, Chelski or Arsenal. We are not a bunch of finicky, snotty, stuck up a$$holes. We are f***ing Liverpool FC. We support the 11 players who take the field and represent our great team. That was a disgrace today. No support for the team whatsoever. Waiting to be entertained instead of getting right behind the team and showing support. I know some of you don;t like Lucas and have blamed the entire Carling Cup defeat at Spurs on him, but he is not going to play any better with 44,000 people waiting for him to make a mistake instead of willing him to do great. You really expected him to do any better by booing the decision to not take him off. Come on! End Result: Fulham 0 - pathetic Liverpool "supporters" 0. I bet Lucas would have played much better and we would have won easily at Craven Cottage. Many more displays like this and Anfield will become what Wembley is to England.

Lucas, £8m, not played in this league before, given no time whatsoever and expected to perform with small cameos here and there.
Difference ?

Ronaldo got subbed off mate and as he was going down the tunnel the Villa fans were giving a bit of aggro(nothing special, just the sort ya see at every ground even on corners)
And he pointed to himself, holding 1 finger in the air and shouted up number one..number one..number one!
Just total arrogance, they wont show it on MOTD though, cant portray"the best player in the world" as the self absorbed arrogant little kunt that he is!
I hope he gets his legs broke, diving about like a fan,ny again today...glad John Gregory pointed it out. Most commentators buy it like the refs!
I hate the fu'cker, nearly as much as Gary Neville!

It was more down to Alonso coming on IMO, Lucas always looks a different player when played with Alonso because he`s given the ball further up the park.
I`d like to see him loaned out because he`s got no confidence and is scared stiff of making a mistake, which is why he too often puts it sideways or back where it came instead of trying a more risky pass.
I`d like to see him have a season at spurs under harry, a more arm round the shoulder, motivating type.
like him makes my skin boil 5 mins alone in a room please god I beat some of that
out of him.

We are not rich enough to be spending 8Mil on a player to then loan him out.![]()
Just sell him already.
