He's not quite up to it Nan I don't think, and never have. If you played him every week (which I wouldn't) I'm sure he'd improve by quite a bit, but bringing him in for an occasional start really does bring his deficiencies into sharp focus. He is an "options" and "possibilities" player who really does provide the bare minimum of both, and if times are hard (which they no doubt are) I'd be listening to offers at Christmas and offloading.

Stevie has been average this half , played some nice through balls and passes but apart from setting the goal up , has been below standards . He looks injured or simply can't be bothered

id get beni off his passing is terrible at times & get babel on

Cant c why people r givin stick 2 keane 4 that chance u can clearly c the ball went behind him so he tried 2 improvise its not like he had a choice

Atletico have been ar.se just strolling around the pitch. If we keep he pace up, stay calm and keep solid at the back then we should have no problem

They have the quality to have one attack and get a goal though so we need to be careful

anyone know why pennants been dropped for this one ?
benny has been sht for 45 mins and thing i hated most about him is that hes constantly giving directions to whoever it is with the ball... gerrard ignored him for the pass that led to the goal..thank fck for that... hes lost te ball every time he got it and doesnt really look up for it... pennant in benny out...

and btw agreed about the simao wanting to get arbeloa sent off bit aswell... but i wouldnt change him early on cause darby will surely have problems trying to keep simao and garcia and sinama quiet...

I'm in Canada at the moment watching the match on TSN. There's this Irish guy commentating (Tommy Smyth I think). When Keane scored, he reckoned he was offside - "you can see the Keane's arm is in an offside position when the ball is played to him" he said. Haha, what a pr!ck. He's just said it again while I'm typing it. "questions where Robbie Keane's arm is"
