one mans good stream is another p1ss poor stream.

the stream that everyone says was good at the start, for me buffers more than it shows the game

I think if we tided up our passing a little we would have been home and dry by now.

Benayoun isn't even close to Kuyt on the right. Doesn't tackle as well, doesn't link up as well with Stevie, doesn't have the same attacking threat and his work rate is less.

Wind spoiling the spectacle but good to be one up.

Benayoun is so useless right now.  Pennant should have played instead of him.

My observations are thus. Dossena has just put in his best 45 mins in the shirt from what I could see. Well done to him. I'd definately take Riera off at half time. He was very unlucky to be booked, but as he doesn't seem to able to resist the temtation for the occasional theatrics, I feel he may get sent off in the second half. I like the set up of the team, it seems fairly obviously a rehearsal for the game against Chelsea, with the obvious adjustment that Kuyt will come in for Benayoun.

I think Masherano has slotted back in very well, Gerrard has been poor by his standards, and Xabi fairly good. I do think theough he should have done much better at blocking Forlan's shot. If we have anybody else who can play right back, we might also consider bringing off Arbeloa as Simao will spend the rest of the match throwing himself tyo the ground and trying to get him sent off.

I think the game will finish 1-1, which is fine.

i dont often have a moan about the players but that Benayoun is gettin on me nerves hes doing nothing , not showing for the ball . Hes not tracking back an giving Arby a breather . An when he has recieved the ball hes lost it , Weve got ten men on the pitch as far as im concerned

Composed, disciplined and comfortable, but we should be taking more advantage of it. Only Keane can explain why we're not 2 - 0 up .

Bring back Kuyt
