missing quite a few i see... how confident are u guys of getting anything out of this game ? and another question if you dont mind... are Camacho and Dominigues good enough to start in such a big game ? i would have thought heitinga or pablo would be played in defense with raul garcia or banega in middle ? seems a rather odd lineup to be honest !

by the way... if agger or carra were to get injured in the game... who would come on to replace them ? would we have to play arbeloa down there and maybe bring in one of the youngsters to play fullback ?! or do we have one of the youngsters who can play CB on the bench ?

Camacho played is firt match the last year agains FC Barcelona, and later in Sevilla, tow hard matches, and we eon both with him in the midfield. Dominguez, I think that this is not the best moment for him. Heitinga is not 100% recovered, he missed the last netherlands matches. Pablo is injured too. Banega will not go to the bench, i don't know why...Aguirre thinks that the match against Vilareal the next weekend it is more importante to try play Champions League again the next year.

i would take 0-0 tonight if it ment that some of our unfit players could come off after 45 mins.
but i feel that its going to be a very very hard game and can see us going 1-0 down in the first 45 mins, we will come back from that .

if the lineup that f9 posted is anything to go by then i think we'r the ones who should be controlling the game and not them... if we dont go for the win then i can see it ending a dull 0-0... defensively they seem rather poor at the moment with most of their defenders out injured or coming back from injuries at best... their central midfielders are also nowhere as good as they should be imo and no offense to atletico but overall their side is nowhere as good as ours i think...
if we play the right formation with the right players i think we should come out comfortable winners but having said that... trust rafa to get back to his usual styling and changing and then we got a mission in our hands...

id start this lineup

Reina

Arbeloa Carragher Agger Dossena/Aurelio

Pennant Gerrard Alonso Riera

Keane Kuyt

Bring on Mascherano and Elzhar if needed but we should seriously start our best lineup and go out to win it instead of settling for a draw... Most of the top sides seem to be on their way to topping their respetive groups so we should be looking to win this game to make sure we'r top of our group and avoid a tough tie so early on...

We should ALWAYS go for the win. Points in the bag take the pressure off later when we have a busy league schedule.

I would take a loss in this game if it meant beating the Chavs but I'm a bit worried it could be two losses on the bounce unless Rafa has managed to sort out the defence from Saturday.
