I want a 0-3.

I want to wind up a couple of Atleticos I know on Thursday big time.

I want humilliation. I don't wan't prisoners.

As for LFC2007's brief description of Atletico it's true, but perhaps (it's a matter of perception) he implies that it could be an easy game for us somehow.

Well I think Calderon tomorrow will be a difficult venue. While it's all true what he says about Pernia, and the midfield, the Calderon stadium, is a stadium I hate with a passion but I also respect for it's intimidation. It's hard to explain this but you can tell for sure that a europe wednesday night at Calderon (which have been scarce in the last decade) will be complicated.

For the Anfield game though, I'd expect to beat them comfortably for the very reasons LFC2007 has explained.

I don't think it will be an easy game, mate, partly because their performances this season seem more geared towards the CL than they do the Primera, and also because they've some very dangerous players in attack who'll be keen to show what they can do in front of an intimidating crowd that hasn't seen a high profile European game in some time. I just think from a tactical perspective they have some key weaknesses which we should be able to exploit, but equally I wouldn't bet against them scoring.

Trying to be objective Nanny, if you asked me in the late nineties or early 2K about a visit to the Bernabeu, I wouldn't be too optimist. I'd wish the victory but I wouldn't have bet money back then.

But these days, I'd have both my money and heart with Liverpool. I think that Liverpool has grown since then.

The other day someone brought an article about Houllier starting that adaptation to future. Whether it was Houllier or mainly Rafa is is debatable, but I think Liverpool are a top european club these days and we could not say that 10 years ago.

P.S. Fair enough LFC2K7. I interpreted your post wrongly.

Couldn't be ar$ed about this game TBH....The chelsea game is much more important....

If we win...then great....if we lose, then we get our 1st loss of the season. The lads will then want to have to prove their "worth" against chelsea... So can go either way.

So in all likely...this match will be a draw..... :p

Rock lets keep the momentum going the team must be buzzin at the mo as we are , So a win tonight would carry great moral on through till Sunday against chelsea. A defeat mate you never know could have the adverse affect.

So thats why i care, i wanna win every game cause im a greedy cow

As good as these lot are going forward they can't defend for toffee.

If we attack them and be positive I'm sure there's goals there for us. I'm just worried about how our defence will hold up, especially in the fullback positions.

Bit of news direct from Madrid regarding Aguero

Aguirre said today he is still injured and if he finally plays, he is sure that not the 90 minutes...

I think we might see a cautious Rafa tonight. I would personally settle for a draw away from home as it's a tough tie.

he wont be so confident when Carra puts him on his ar$e in the first 10 mins, closely followed by Agger kicking him in the 'orchestra stalls'.
