But to you, Bamagaman, b0ll0cks to you that we don't need quality on the wings. You're the only person to say this that I have heard in the past 4 years - that includes a whole whack load of past players, pundits, managers, coaches etc....
You seemingly know better though

Obviously I didnt explain my point properly Bungle or you completely missed the gist of it, feck knows how.

WE DO NEED QUALITY WIDE MEN !!!

we were :censored:, some people need to accept that Liverpool Football Club are allowed to be criticised. We've been a :censored: joke since the start of the season.

Results at the end of they day are what matter but sooner or later we're going to be twatted playing this badly. The only reason we're winning games is because of the defence. Reina has kept us in games, the attacking players have been :censored:. Embarrasingly bad.

If I missed the point, perhaps it was disguised in an unintelligible rant. But we DO agree on the need for width - so let's agree to agree on that, shall we ?

DLS - Can you and GYBS go and get some anger management course or something ? Maybe ye can get a 2-for-1 deal, or a double discount based on your anger levels....

anger management ? nah im fine as the next guy - well that is when i can peel him down of the roof .  :D

guess its juts annnoying with have people slagging off yanks cause they dont do it the liverpool way etc then we see people constantly slagging off crucial players and our manager as well - is that the liverpool way ? dont we always back them no matter what ? even more so when they contribute more to our great club than people realise ?

Don't give me that bollox. We were poor, aye; but the constant droning and negativity consistently directed at this team is starting to get on my f*cking tits on this forum lately. Either support the side, or just f*ck off and support someone else. Simple as that. In a while when we're having a good spell, players will all of a sudden become legends. You can't have it both ways. Faith is one-dimensional. That's it!

Why don't you follow your own advice if you can't handle the truth and :censored: off and support your local team.

You're happy clappy attitude is even more boring than listening to the dickheads.

He can suport any one he likes he knows far more then you ever will.

you Clueless Fo Dne I have footballing family lived it all my life 2 cousins played for spurs there father was a scout.

I played for plymouth and charton youth and semi pro till 24( till my knee packed in).

I tell you sunny boy jim bob charlie you don't know feck all you speak for ya poo hole more then any one on this forum.

Bout time you stop having your hissy fits about players not playing well and start Surporting you team.

Endure , tolerate , encouragement .

Just a few things you should think about.

If you so sick of liverpool FC players why don't you send a email to rafa do some thing about it.

Or are you worried he just :censored: him self laughting Becasue i think that would be the response.

Bamaga man wrote:Final point, to many of the well respected posters on here that disreguard peoples opinions that we dont need wide players who can whip in a cross or two. I'm happily going to give you the two finger salute for your sheer arrongance upon the matter becasue although Torres and Kean may not "thrive" on crosses as they're "not as good with their head as they are with their feet' hense the reason why we dont need a wide man he is capable of whipping in a cross or two. B0llocks to ya, it may not of been Torres or Keane who scored from Babels cross, but still if you dont whip em in, you'll have even less chance of scoring wont you ? And note that was the first cross of the night from that area of the pitch where Babel crossed from.

No-one ever said we don't need wide midfielders or even wingers. We don't "wingers who can whip in a cross", we've got one, Pennant, we need quality in the wide positions, and very good quality because at the moment, Stevie wonder can see have very little.

As for Babel's cross, any good defence would have dealt with it, it was a decent ball at best, what the defender was doing to allow Kuyt in like he did only he will know. No decent full back or centre half would have allowed him into that area in the first place, they never do. There is a big difference in having width in your teams play and having "wingers who can whip in a cross".

Arsenal play with all the width in the world and I can't remember the "whipped in cross" they scored from.

I think the two finger salute should go to the people who try putting words in other peoples mouths.

I can't think of one poster on here who hasn't said we need more quality in wide positions.

i would say that pennant is more of a floater than a whipper. in any case, i'd like to see him play a couple of games if we stick with this 4.2.2 malarky.
