Sean you don't get it, Penguin and Owzat have made a hillarious observation here, the lads have seen that O'Neill is a small Irishman so they've came to the conclusion that calling him the leprachaun is a highly amusing way of insulting him. It's really high-brow stuff if you ask me.

Not sure mate , Shankslegend said today ,that rafa wants him end of story , he also suggested that the two yanks are willing to put there hands in there pockets . Can't see it myself ,to be honest mate ,i'd rather keep xabi and concentrate on getting some quality width.

Found a few quotes from shankslegend from earlier on

I think this deal will still go through...

Does anyone remember arbratrations that used to happen with transfers, we will b ok there.

Dont be suprised if the owners dip into their pockets...

Been talking about this tonight...

                 Reina

Carra Skrtel Agger Dossena

      Alonso Masch Barry

         Gerrard   Keane

                Torres

and also this

Opinion with Barry

Hints with owners dipping, apparently really want to win the world this season... And want it more then anything, heard some nice things for once.

The new stadium is the be all and end all of the world also.

I've been having chit chat tonight

Don't know what to make of all this saint , what do yer reckon mate.

I heard a while back that Rafa was to get a £20million transfer chest on the 26 of July. I couldn't believe those two clowns would put up the money either, so I presumed it was either b0llocks or maybe that we got our CL OR TV money this weekend?

I more or less agree mate, I think if its a break even deal it might just be worth doing, but as it looks like we are going to lose money on the two deals I think we should forget it, stick with Alonso and try to bring in Silva or someone like that.

I still think Rafa will pull a surprise out of the hat even if we sign Keane and Barry. I think he will bring in one more big name. I am hoping for a top creative player, but I hope for one of those every year  :D

The day the owners start spending some of their own money I'll believe in Santa Clause again.
If Alonso stays Keane will be prioritized.

And I am happy with that as 18 million for Keane is a heck of a lot better money spent than 18 million on Barry.

We have Torres as only striker good enough but 4 players already in cm.

I can't see Carra playing full back if Rafa wants pacy attacking backs?

I just hope there is some truth in all this, its been a sh!t transfer window up to now. Lots of top quality players supposedly available but no one seems to be making a move and we just don't seem interested in any of them, while the two players we want have been long drawn out saga's, with us likely to have to pay well over the odds if we want them.

Maybe the two tw@ts think they can buy a bit of time and gain a bit of popularity by stumping up some cash? FFS don' tell them they are wasting their time mate  :D

I don't see what the big deal is with Silva, seen enough of him in the Euro's and wasn't overly impressed.

I truly hope so. We need to scrap the whole Barry ordeal and put the money towards someone like David Silva.

that Bouma hasnt broken his leg like first suspected but hes done some serious damage .
