today is the 50th anniversary of the munich disaster, I know we have our differences with the peasants down the road but i want to try and put this into perspective, try and imagine it happened to us on the playing side. We have had our fair share of disasters, non sadder or more profound that hillsborough so we know how these things feel.

many fans, even man u fans will be too young to even remember this happening but its one of those footballing things that should never be forgotten.

anyway i just wanted to make you all aware and at the end of the day not all man u fans are scum who deserve derision and i am sure they shout down the abuse aimed at us.

It's amazing that just ten years after losing so many players they were able to win the European Cup.

It was sad what happened, the Mancs lived on this for 40 years going on about "we would have won everything if it wasn't for munich".
