Losing that much weight in one week can be detrimental to your health. It's certainly not the best way to lose weight mate, you've probably lost muscle mass, and your organs will probably be weaker.

That is a shit load of weight to lose in one week, feck me, go and see your doctor and eat well.

Watched a programme on tv last night about fat people. The programme focused on three in particular who all claimed to have a "medical" condition that was resposible for their obesity, Slow metabolism, Inherited genetic disorder and the "Fat" virus (   ).

After extensive tests by specialists they were all given the same result /diagnosis,one that I think applies to 99.9% of overweight people
ie "There's nothing medically wrong with you, you just eat too much ! " :D
One fat bint sat there with a look of disbelief on her bloated dial and  tried to argue with the doctors "That can't be right , even if I don't eat for 5 days I don't lose any weight at all" The Doc tried to explain that was impossible but she wasn't having it.

As Al Murray would say "Yeah luv, slow metabolism and an extremely fast pie eating action"  :D

i did see a bit of that last night the funnest thing was one of them saying

well i have a mars bar or a snickers before i go to a dance class cos i know i will be burning it off, then it was showing her at the dance class where she just kind of moves about abit :D now that's was dancing

the thing about metabolism is that the more you eat the faster it works so the better for you and them saying mine is slow is just cr*p

metabolism speeds up by eating small amounts of food regularly and/or increasing lean muscle mass, I love that though, "ill eat a snickers now cause il burn it off later" :D what about the 5 extra stone your already carrying? how you gonna burn that off? Sleep on a treadmill?

So...

Was 171 lbs

Now 168 lbs

-3 lbs in 2 wks happy with that :)

Thats me at 12 stone - hopefully next week under 12 stone and the first milestone reached.  It may be a bit more difficult because last week I messed up my left calf when running - probably needs a bit more rest before I can run again.

Will try swimming and cycling but the weather may be against me for the bike.

i've been out running a few times this week and i'm going to continue that so fingers crossed for the coming weeks

shoulder is also getting better so i will be starting back a rugby training again in the next few weeks so that will help a lot

i had one bad day, it was my little girls christening sunday so had to make a lot of rubbish food and of course you have to eat a bit of it :D :D bring on the sausage on a stick food of the gods and of course that great PINEAPPLE and cheese

good luck with the coming week!!

Take a look at the GI diet... its easy to follow, slowly lose weight and exercise.  You wont be starving and its surprising how much you can eat during the day if you eat correctly.

tried it, failed it! Sadly I just struggle to get off the sugary stuff, im like a big kid, only hairier. My best bet is just sticking to a strict calorie controlled diet and not trying to eat all the healthy stuff, cause i'l just crack and fail and eat even more that ever
