Was 171 lb

Now 167 lb

Good but not as good as it should be as I weighed 165 a few days back - its amazing what a sat night binge can do to you.

Anyways its still a downward trend and 4 lbs loss overall is very satisfying.

9 lbs is an excellent effort Graham... well done mate

ok burjennio if you find it difficult to follow a diet try changing a couple of things..

have porridge or all bran instead of other cereal

eat wholemeal bread instead of white or plain brown bread

try new boiled potatoes or long grain rice (both microwavable it takes a few minutes) instead of mash or chips or pasta

have 3 meals and 3 snacks a day... the idea is to not get hungry... it tricks your body into thinking it doesn't need reserves of fat (which it doesn't) and hey presto you start losing fat and weight.

to help you through the night drink a pint OF WATER before you go to bed that way you shouldn't wake up needing something to eat, ok you will need a long p*ss in the morning but at least you won't be getting up and eating

give it a try it does work and think then you will be hungry for that bowl of bran flakes all the more come morning time aswell

i take a pint of water to bed with me, i just sleep poorly, and always have sugar cravings when i wake, dunno why. Tried taken dried fruit, seeds and other surrogates to bed to, but sadly to no avail

Ive tried porridge and all bran, and musuli and branflakes and oats and all that gear and they are vile. ATM im on the Special K, which is sufferable, though i dont like all the hallucanations

Well I don't know mate it looks like you're on your own with the diet.  I can say from experience that Weightwatchers food is shite and you'll always be starving after having it.

I would recommend getting your blood sugar levels checked but you've probably done that already... sounds like your sugar levels might be in your boots at night which may account for the cravings.

Trial and error mate you'll get there in the end.

Anyway how can porridge be vile?  Just add a load of sugar to it or honey or banana or apple or anything else sweet... I loves porridge I do :)

gotta weigh yourself at the same time every time mate... first thing in the morning, take a p1ss and then weigh yourself... this is your true weight. Don't be tempted to weigh yourself at any other time as it can be soul destroying to see the changes from am to pm.
