Many thanks for that, pretty impressive.  Be nice to see Shanks, Bob´s, Fagan´s first 200 game stats along side.   ()

pretty impressive. rafa will be considered a successful coach at Liverpool. however he wouldn't however be considered a great coach in my eyes as he has not played the style of football that shanks and others have played during their times with liverpool. thats my opinion anyway:P

the team benitez took over could hardly string 3 passes together.
maybe we arent as free flowing as arsenal but i remember under roy evans the team was accused of passing the ball to death with no end product.
benitez, considering the situation when he took over has done an incredible job (owen wanting out, gerrard considering going, team devoid of confidence and full of overpriced flops (diouf, diao, cheyrou, biscan, traore etc), style of play ridiculed by opposing fans, chairman with no cash, etc).
make no mistake, we were a club in crisis when benitez came.

Make no mistake Rafa has had a tough time rebulding a team that was a piece of :censored: when he came. As above we had no money when Rafa came and stil;l struggled for cash for a couple of seaons after. Cisse apart. We bought Alonso and Luis by selling players on which ended up being superb signings for us.

Rafa has done excellently in the space of time he has been here, and we have improved in the league.

2004-05 5th place - Champs legaue winners
2005-06 3rd place - FA cup winners

Now here it comes, with a squad still nowhere near setting England alight we get to the champs league final and still finish 3rd! Thats an improvement.

Thank you and good night...

No smoke No fire ...
And it's all over the media today that German giants Bayern Munich are ready to make an audacious raid for our Rafa Benitez with a package that seems like he can't avoid a second looking. Much as I hated rotation, but I suddenly now feeling worried.

y go to bayern munich, to me there is no challenge for rafa as bayern munich dominates the German league year after year (apart from last year) and the only challenge is the champs league. a comp rafa has already won. rafa will stay in the prem and continue to try and win the epl.

I would doubt Rafa will go to Bayern, big club that they are the Premiership is a bigger league and Liverpool a bigger club. Even if some of us have our doubts, I'm not doubting RAFA thinks he is doing a great job so why would he leave now?

Bayern Honours

European Cup Winners : 4
German League Champions : 20

UEFA Cup Winners Cup : 1
UEFA Cup : 1
Intercontinental Cup : 2
German Super Cup : 3
German Cup : 13
German League Cup : 6

Ok Germany may not be as uncompetitive as SPL say, but that's less impressive than Liverpool's record. Next biggest winner is only on 10 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_football_champions
