Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Do you want him to be next Liverpool boss and I don't know much about him and do you rate him highly or not? Cos I don't know about his background of his career.

Is Rafael a  Man motivator, because Liverpool players need a man motivator? So is he right man for the job?

Cos, I don't know much about him, of course he led Valencia to win the UEFA Cup last wednesday. I need to know more information about him and I hope you don't mind about that I need your help.

Cheers

Well he's odds on 4/5 favourite at the moment.  If he comes he can bring Ruben Baraja with him.  I'd have him in my team any day.  Class player, I remember when we played Valencia a couple of years ago - he was outstanding, a different class!!!

he has had a successful couple of seasons at valencia but he isn't going to bring us anything new in terms of style of play. did you see the uefa cup final?

Jonnymac, Baraja is indeed f*cking awesome even though he didn't impress particularly in the UEFA final. He'd suit the style of the premiership quite well and imagine him in the middle of the park with Stevie!! Another midfielder I like the look of is Gattuso at Milan but he would come with a price tag that would make even Abramovich blush. Am I right in thinking Gattuso was at Rangers a while back but they thought he was bollox and let him go? Or am I thinking of somebody else?

Yeah, he was at Rangers.  He was MOTM in last seasons Champions League final.

By the way, for a nil-nil draw I was entertained for 120 minutes that night.  Both Milan and Juventus were excellent.

typical italian football match if you ask me. superb technical ability but no pace or excitement. that is the kind of football we would get with mourihno in charge.

Was he in charge when we played them at anfield a few years ago?

I've never seen a team outclass us like that before. Sheer quality.

He's the ONLY man for the job.

The only thing is he needs to build on Houlliers good work, not start from scratch!!

COMMON REDMEN!!

Mourinho's agent is desperately touting him for the job.
