Does anyone reckon he will be paraded alongisde Voronin, seeing as he's arrived in Liverpool today aswell?

No offence to Voronin, but i think Torres should have his own limelight seeing as the money/high profile nature of the transfer.

Id like to see him do some keepy uppys, La liga style, in the Liverpool kit. This is a big day in Liverpool recent history, lets milk it!

the pony tailed love machine can have his time later on, or tommorow. Whda reckon?

Liverpool to unveil Torres
Liverpool have called a press conference for 3pm on Wednesday, where club record signing Fernando Torres will be paraded before the media.

it will be live on sky sports news at 3pm

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Balague says the deal is £20m + Garcia, not £26/27m.

Yes i have heard the same but Liverpool have given AM permission to say they recived 27m to keeo fan unrest down.

Why pay that much money for a guy who doesn't have a high scoring rate in Spain? strip out the penalties and it is worse.

Does anyone think he will be as good as Keegan,Dalglish,Rush,Aldridge,Fowler and Owen?

Maybe now - but the first four are middle aged

Fernando, your heart is red and white as, it has always been. Now you will have to paint the white stripes for a while... Do the best in Liverpool. We hope you can will many titles before going back home. Now all we can do is buying a red t-shirt with a big "9" and see you playing every saturday afternoon on TV. Good luck from Madrid.

He'll still be in red and white, just not at the same time.
