No way would I want him back...he lost it before we sold him and has been poor for three years now. I can see Mourinho getting a good season out of him but his best days are behind him for sure

Only for free like Toure yes. Like Owen, we've had the best out of him and he has past his prime. He can still bang in the goals but not as prolific and clinical like he once was.

He was the best forward in the world for one season with us, then his head got turned and he lost it. I still think he is a class act, and class acts don't come around cheap often. He is still the right side of 30 and was still top scorer for Chelski last year, despite his detractors.

The manner of his transfer was unpleasant. And I don't think he fits the profile of the clubs transfer policy. However for a cheeky 10 million or less he is worth a punt certainly. The style we play would help him and the key would be playing with Stevie again.
