It’s like waking up on Christmas Day realising you know exactly what’s in box that’s covered with decorative wrapping paper.

You know that a piece of our hearts is now with Liverpool, so we like you tell to us the evolution of Fernando in this season.

Thousand of atletico fans are now Liverpool supporters, and you're going to have a lot of spanish people (bad english speakers as me) in your forum.

GOOD LUCK FOR THIS SEASON.

One question: What name are going to have Fernando The kid, The boy or el niño?

'el nino' and 'the kid' both sounds nice to me...

I prefer 'el nino' though... sounds more bad- :censored:...

how bout 'el nino the kid' ?

I read that he has taken a pay cut to come here. Anyone know what he was paid at Athletico?

The fee according to LFC is 20 million pounds.

This is probably plus Garcia but the Garcia deal is not mentioned.

Just been confirmed that Torres cost 30m Euros, the equivalent of £20m.

Just heard that on skysports Adam, sounds much better, even if we let Garcia go a bit cheaper to keep the price down, it puts less pressure on him. Now he only has to score 20 goals a season  :D

It could be "El Kid"

But, if I have to be honest, it's about time he's not the kid any more, hope he is "the man".

Atletico Madrid had better offers and the player had better offers," Benitez told the Liverpool Echo.

"But he always wanted to join Liverpool. That was the key for me.

"We needed to work hard because there were other clubs who wanted him that we knew about - other clubs offering more money.

"But the player said straight away 'I want to join Liverpool'. He said we were his first choice and that was the key for me.

"He has taken a pay cut to come here. Okay he is still on a very good contract because he is a top player.

"But to be a successful club you need players with passion and Fernando has passion."

I like 'el niño' cause reminds to me his atletico past.

But you choose my friends
