All this talk of arrivials can someone just clarify have Mark Gonzalez and Bolo Zenden gone yet. I know Zenden was allowed to speak to other clubs but has he gone?

Also how much money can we bring in this summer and how much will be allocated to Rafa as extra funds?

I thought Gonzalez had left but the Liverpool tv website has been talking about Gonzalez winning a game for Chilie in the Copa America.

Neither has gone as far as I am aware. We will get nothing for Zenden and Gonzo is probably going to be loaned out rather than sold.

I am not sure even Rafa knows how much he has to spend, depends whether we can sell Cisse, Bellamy , even Garcia?

I have a question for members, what would you make of the signings of both Tevez and Torres? I know it’s unrealistic that we will sign both, but this rejection has made the Tevez speculation more interesting. I would love to see Tevez in a Liverpool shirt, but I am not sure if we can afford both Tevez and Torres. Then there is the fact that other areas of the team need improving too.

Well if signing players like Benayoun only has been an hypothesis for some people, then this is another more optimistic hypothesis. It would mean that the new owners would frighten the other teams with both their economic and convincing abilities!

I don't think though we'll be bringing two big names upfront. The next step should be to strenghten the wings.

Personally although he isn't world class, I think Jermaine Pennant is a good winger, he improved a lot over the season. Although if we're wanting to win the Premiership title, we could maybe do with a slightly better RWinger.

There was talk that Newcastle wanted a deal involving Bellamy and Riise, I think it was 10mill for the 2. Cisse doesn't look as if he'll be sold, loan again IMO. Garcia won't be sold just given to Athletico. There is a bit of deadwood in the ranks as well, but we'll be lucky to get 10 mill in this year through transfers.

Cisse should go to Bolton. = 7mil
Zenden should go to Wigan = 1mil
Gonzalez should go to Spain = 1.5mil
Fowler should go to Rangers -------
Dudek should go Abroad -------

I think Pennant was our best player towards the back end of last season really improved. He proved he was well worth the 6 million we spent on him, won't get anypne better for that price.

we wont get money for Zenden, Fowler or Dudek will we, arent they all out of contract?

6 mill for Bellamy is good enough for me
7 for Cisse is as good as we'll get
anything for the rest is a bargain

We should get 7mil for Cisse because that's only half of what we payed for him, and he's still young and in the French squad regularly, i'll be :censored:

off if we sell him for less.

And yeah I knew Fowler and Dudek were out of contracts, wasn't sure on Zenden. Ah well, still need to get rid of them.

There's too much deadwood at Anfield nowadays, players picking up wages who don't even make the bench for most games simply because they have no talent as a footballer.

I actually think that torres and tevez would be enough...................... if we got them we dont particularly need anyone else..........kewell and pennant plus young fellas and deadwood as back up........solid at back , unreal centre mid options crouch tevez torres kuyt voronin ,, awwwwww magic !!

He's a great buy.

He's 23, Henry is 29.

Henry doesnt adapt to Spain, he's worth zero.

Torres doesnt adapt to England, he's still worth 15m+ due to his age

If David Villa was available, i could understand the complaints. Facts are he is not.

So who would you spend 25m on if not Torres?
