The only time Chelsea looked even remotely threatening over the two legs was in the last 10 seconds of the tie, and they fluffed the chance. If an iffy goal had gone in in injury time, I could understand the constant references, but they had 180 minutes to make something happen and they failed to do so. End of.

that's what gets my goat aswell. they bleat on about losing to "a goal that wasn't" when the only reason they even got to the semi in the first place was due to "a goal that wasn't" when ricardo carvalho literally manhandled victor valdes for their winning goal against barca.

at the end of the day, they had one shot on target in 180 minutes against us in that tie, and the "tactical genius" that is maureen resorted to throwing a centre back upfront and hitting long balls for the last 10 minutes.

Whether the ball crossed the line or not (it did like) Cech should have been sent off and we should have had a pen.
Everyone apart from Liverpool fans seems to forget that.

Absolutely agree with this!!  He F@cking tackled Baros in the box which allowed Luis to tap it in.

I see that Chelsea have Drogba, Joe Cole, Robben, Diarra and Ballack all on two yellow cards. Essien is banned for the first leg.

We should do a "Gudjohnsen" on Drogba or Cole.

Was talking to me mate about this last night... we live in manchester and there are about 6 or 7 of us Liverpool fans but I don't think I could watch that game in a boozer up this end.... suicidal.  We were talking about staying over in Liverpool and watchin it in the city centre pubs.

Anyways I don't think we'll be playing manure... Roma were awful the other night and for a second placed Italian team to defend a 2-1 lead as bad as they did was amazing.  They shoulda had 11 men behind the ball at all times and bored the game into submission.  Manure looked good and a are a good team but Milan will be a totally different game... they gave manure a footballing lesson a couple of years back and I don't see why they can't this time.

Now Liverpool... well which team is THE form team in the CL at the moment?  Which team is better now than it was a couple of years ago?  Nobody in Europe wants to meet us... we're hard as fukk to beat and have the class players and manager to crack any nut including chelski.  Drogba is the one player that I'd :censored: myself playing against but Sami and Carra have proved themselves against the best time and time again.

Crouch and Stevie to score in both legs and the same again in the final against Milan... C'MON

Essien is a very good player for them and its a good bit of news that he is out of the first leg. He is one of Mourinho's favourite players because of his versaitility and adaptability to play in any position on the park. I think he is at his most dangerous in the centre as although he has not shown it in the glimpses on MOTD and football first, when I have seen him play live, he is a very accomplished footballer.

On the subject of there players on a yellow, thats also good news for us. According to most of the Chelsea fans on their sites - Robben is out of both legs so his yellow card should not be much of a problem. Diarra I don't think Mourinho would put him in a game this big, he has not really impressed as a temp. right back and I feel Jose would make a big mistake putting him there, especially with Riise probably filling in the left midfield. Ballack could be a casalty to a suspension because of the way he plays and in a midfield thats going to be tightly packed in the first leg. Drogab's not silly enough to get another yellow and are you sure about Joe Cole, the reason I ask is because, that was his first game back and the group stage yellows don't count, do they?

Chelsea's interest in the FA Cup and the title race may cause them some extra tiredness and hopefully injuries which could help us no end. We've been playing their best football probably since the season began and are looking sharp, relaxed and confident. Mascherano has adjusted well, Pennant looks better and Crouch has figured out how to head a ball and Kewell is very close to returning, although I would have major reservations about throwing him in the deep end so soon.

I really don't know what to expect from this, Chelsea AGAIN, the 6th time in 3 seasons we have met in the Champions League, we seem to have the edge but the tide always turns, I just hope its not this year, and I hope come Anfield at 22.30 on the 1st May, the place will be rocking after reaching our 2 final in Europe in 3 years.

Ancient Greece?  Bring it on!

Its a joke. I think its a reference to the fact when we won the cup in 1978 - a pope died, in 2005 - a pope died.

If he dies again this year......  :D

I can't see why that would be offensive.

I'll be honest I never understood the fuss about Essien until this season, but the man's a f#cking demon. He's possessed, and scares me more than any other player Chelsea can put up against us, even Joe "Pinball Wizard" Cole

Gutted to see Bellamy carted off last night though as he's our only pacy striker. I'd hate to have to go down there with no threat over the top on the break, we'd get penned in for 90 minutes

If Chelsea play it cagey again like last time at their place we're in with a huge chance of getting a decent result though. I mean they hardly offered any attacking threat in the League game down there and if we'd taken our chances we'd have won comfortably.

On the yellow card subject, surely they should be wiped out going into the semis ??? .I know Chelsea have more players on yellows than us us but lets just say Mascherano gets a yellow in the last minute of the return leg and we progress... he misses the final, thats bull. :censored:

I'm not nervous.
Maureen is going to meet a proper team, instead of the usual 'you've too much class, we'll roll over for you' teams. Meeting us will give him the willies.
Chelsea will be the nervous ones, knowing their rich 'student' tactician has to face the tactical guru.
Stand by for more humiliation, blues fans.

Well Ken runs away with one of his exes soon!
So maybe Ken will marry her and Deirdre will marry Steve or someone? It does'nt take ol Deirdre long getting a man ya know.
So they both may still get married only to other people! :D

Is in true that Man Utd will be in home team if they get to the final?

In that case if we get there we wont be wearing red!
