Take a moment to smile and then throw a most ripe, rotten piece of fruit fair on the forehead of a Barcelona supporter. For today shall be reknowned in history as the day we marched into the home of our Spanish competitors, dropped our strides, and proceeded to rub our bottoms in their bitter faces. Carpe diem my amigo, lets deal with the second leg in a fortnight shall we?
Make no mistake, I'm going to milk this win as much as I can. But, it's a two legged tie. There's always going to be doubt and anxiety about us faltering.
That's just the way it is

Just like what happened to Capello's Juve 2 years back. So there's no point of any bitter Barca fan keep saying that we didn't deserve the win. If they want to be 'Bitter', go and support the Blue
!!
That particular Barca fan thought that they would win 4-0 hence his extreme bitterness. It was a tough pill for him to swallow. Just goes to show that you shouldn't talk big before a big match.

We took our chances and punished Barca for their mistakes. However, we did have some luck through out the match. With that being said, we contained them a hell of a lot better than I expected to and we played better defensively than I thought we would.
Everybody who is saying that Barca won't score 2 goals at Anfield needs their head checked.
Could you see Arsenal beating us 3-1 at Anfield or 6-3? Could you f#ck. Could you see Benfica beating us 0-2 at Anfield too? Could you f#ck.
Could you see us losing 3-1 at Anfield against Barca a couple of years ago? Could you f#ck.
While this win should be enjoyed we should do some with some perspective. This isn't any team, this is the defending La Liga and Champions League Champions who have destroyed teams in the past [as our captain pointed out after the game].
It just too good to be true and maybe I'm being too negative but football is a b!tch at times.
Many were expecting that we would get our asses handed to us at the Nou Camp and that didn't happen. Now those same two faced f#cks are saying that Barca can't score at Anfield.
B#llocks. True we've kept out Chelsea and Juventus out at Anfield in this very competition, but Barca are on another level.
Absolutely spot on.
If anything, the result we gained in Barcelona may come back to haunt us - if we sit back and try to protect the lead, we're absolutely f*cked.

Agree, and I'm sure that Rafa was thinking about it as soon as the final whistle blew.
We can't afford to sit back but we can't attack them too much either. They will naturally go forward more than they would want as they need the goals, we will look to exploit their back four at the break.
However, if they pressure us for long periods of time we're going to struggle.
I hope Rafa makes sure that we don't get complacent at Anfield, otherwise this result will be bitter sweet.
Btw Lando, are we related by any chance? We seem to agree with one another more than anyone else. You could be my fat brother

Stop spoiling a great result. Your clearly one of those supporters that wants to complain about too much.
Stop talking out of your arse. I'm not complaining about anything, I am however having a bit of perspective. Past games, results have taught me not get ahead of myself.
And how the f#ck am I spoiling ''a great result"? Were you born with your head up your arse. Seriously, anyone with any sort of sense wouldn't make such a stupid comment after I already stated the following in my original post:
"What an amazing result!"
Supporting a club means having belief, not doubts
It also means being realistic and reasonable. Saying that a team like Barca won't score at Anfield when other sides who are inferior to them have scored is unreasonable.
We have a very good record at home. Nobody is denying it however that didn't prevent certain results going the other way.
Barca weren't beaten for four years in Europe at home prior to this game. Ment f#ck all after we beat them didn't it?
You should be celebrating a great result for the club, a great team performance.
I screamed at the top of my lungs and celebrated in jubilation after we scored the second goal, watched the game again after it finished. So f#ck off.
If you think so highly of Barcelona, buy their shirt
It's called respect. Liverpool fans are known for their class and respect of other teams that hold good traditions and play good football. This is the very same club that has applauded the oppositions goalkeeper for years. The very same club that applauds individual magic even if it's from the opposition. [i.e. the respect the Kop gave Henry for his goal against us earlier. Or the respect we gave to Benfica after they beat us last year].
If you still don't get it then go look it up in the dictionary. I'm sure there is a further elaboration.
We are the kings of the Europe, not them
They are the defending European Champions you tit.
This isn't the best of days to pick in an argument with me, it hasn't been a good week for me. I advise you to take my advice [take your head out of your ass ] and f#ck off.
Its like you're hoping we get done at Anfield just so you can say you were right
Support the team with your heart, not just your head.
Barcelona wont even turn up against us at Anfield. Our players are full of confidence and belief after this game. We are going to wipe them out all over the park

That attitude can disappear very quickly once the second leg starts.
It's fine to acknowledge that we got a great result, but it's only wise to remember than only half the job is done.
So caution is the best approach.
