Yeh, right. Just like you grew up Mikel Arteta ?

You brought him from Antiguoko at 16. You offer jobs to the parents of the lads, you make them study in La Massia, you're not exactly the kind of club that works with the youth system traditionally.

Cesc Fabregas wasn't robbed, for what is worth. I'm unsure he would have the chance to make his debut in Barcelona, to be honest.

All in all, you have more authentic youth system products than Real Madrid, that's for sure.

I can't wait, I won't the game now! bring them on!

Well we did develop Arteta, he was with us for 4 years from the age of 15. We bought Do Santos in 2002, 5 years ago and he is only 17 at the moment, so we developed him as well. Krcic has been with us since he was 9 or something like that, Messi when he was 13.

You can't ever try and suggest that we don't grow our own. Like the saying goes, Madrid buys Galacticos, Barca creates them.

i think barca also have the tendency to buy world famous players....ronaldhino,deco,eto and giuly but have no doubts their youth talent that have come up recently are fantastic

We try and strike a balance. As we are the owners, it is important to keep a Catalan identity, although sometimes, with certain presidents, I feel that they confuse Catalan with Dutch.

If you look at Liverpool, you are at your most successful when you do the same. A backbone of Scousers and some others bolted on. I suppose you know that playing locals that they will understand what the club means to the people having grown up there and they will have an automatic level of pride when they pull on the shirt.

Giuly isn't in the same class as Ronaldinho,Deco and Eto'o.

He's Barca's version of Luis Garcia [inconsistent], some Barca fans would prefer Luis over Giuly.

Now that I've said that, he'll probably score against us :glare:
