yeah they recon he's off to ac milan, which would make sense considering he spent the majority of his career there and was part of that great milan side of the late 80's/early 90's.

rijkaard to ac milan, maureen to inter, mancini to chelsea. get your money on it folks. :D

There won't be a punnishment for Eto'o.

The two players Ronaldinho and Eto'o hugged and sealed the peace. The problem seems to be over.

The Madrid press says that either Ronaldinho or Eto'o will leave the club in summer. Apparently Barcelona want Cristiano Ronaldo and would use one of them to get him.

I believe that they are not going to escape Cristiano Ronaldo. In Spanish press it is possible to read that Madrid and the Milan also love Cristiano Ronaldo, too.
The press says that this player can cover the hollow left by Beckham, so much as footballplayer and in sales of t-shirts, too.

We need to go there and do the one thing we haven't done all season...

Make sure our set pieces are telling for once. They're weak in the air.

I think Rijkaard will try and take him to AC Milan with him.

You all sound very confident about your chances at Camp Nou.  I have read most of this thread (it took a while) and while it is true that we have not been at our best this year, it is also true that we have been missing our front line for practically the whole season.  Even with that handicap we are still leading La Liga and we have scored more goals.

It has taken time for people like Zambrotta to adjust to the Spanish game and the World Cup certainly took it out of some of our big guns, Ronaldinho and Marquez especially.  Xavi got badly injured last year and it is only now that he is starting play like his old self again.  Gudjohnsen has not been the player we hoped for, but then we didn’t expect him to have to lead the line on his own and the internal political problems surrounding Saviola have not helped either.

That however is all in the past.  In our last outing on Sunday we destroyed Racing and found our swagger and style again.  R10 has taken the criticism onboard and has started training in the afternoons and looks fitter, sharper and happier so beware.  We have solved our problem in the DM role by playing Marquez there that allows Xavi and Deco to express themselves; Messi is back and although missing match fitness is as fit as one could hope after such a long layoff.

Murph mentioned that we have had a couple of problems with Ego’o.  Well nothing new there to be honest, he has already walked out of the stadium this year after being subbed and we can expect the same again at some point, it is just his character.  Like Bellamy but with skill and no annoying, whining Welsh accent.  The Ego’o problem has been resolved, for now, although it has highlighted the political problems we have at the club between Laporta, Rossell and Cruyff (obviously).

Now the problem is behind us we can expect to see a super motivated Barca in the next few weeks.  We have a tricky match against Los Ches and Ego’o won’t be playing so he should be fresh against Liverpolonia, well at least the second leg.

I think we will not have it all our own way in the first leg, especially if Ego’o isn’t playing because we lack power and pace upfront in Guddy and Saviola.  Neither of them will cause you any problems, but Messi and R10 will.

One thing none of you have mentioned is your atrocious scoring record away from home.  That is one thing I am relying on.  For me we have to have a 2 goal advantage after the first leg if we want to progress.  I can’t see us winning at Anfield if we had to.  Rafa knows how to hold onto a lead and the Kop will be a huge advantage.
