If you count every trophy Barca has won, we've probably won twice as many as you.

The main trophies are:

Liverpool

league titles = 18
european cups = 5
uefa cups = 3
fa cup = 7
league cup = 7

Barca

league titles = 18
european cups = 2
uefa cup winners cups = 4
copa del rey = 24

All this jibber-jabber about Barca's history is pathetic - you've always been a two-team country, and if Real didn't win it, you did.

Liverpool have had numerous other strong sides to deal with. Think about it this way - how many teams from Spain have won the European cup? 2?

English winners:

LFC,
Aston Villa,
Nottm Forest,
Scum.

That in itself tells you we had a harder time of dominating.

Mes que un club = More than a club

We also have no owner, it is the fans that own the club. The Soci's vote in a President every 4 years.

Spain has had 2 winners yes. But won more European Cups than English teams.

While i take your comments on board. To say there has never been a dominant team in England is very foolish. You should know this as you were once a major force yourselves.

It's entirely different.

In England, the "dominant team" changes according to eras.

First it was Preston, then Huddesfield, Arsenal, Lancashire Longstockings, Leeds, Liverpool, Man Utd etc....

In Spain, like Scotland, it's pretty much always been two teams divided the honours between them.

Woah fella, i'm not trying to diss Liverpool at all here. I sometimes wonder if people here are reading ALL my posts  ???

I was explaining abit about Barca's history as it seemed clear some people knew nothing about it, and i was asked. No need to give me hassle about it mate.

Oi , the fans on here surely don't like some of Liverpools tragic past being brought up and rightly so. So to taunt a Barca fan with the mention of Franco is a f*cking disgrace!

Have some respect.

Barca fans mention Heysel = Franco making an appearance.

Reciprocity.

Those who can't take it, shouldn't dish it out.

I won't deny what you're saying. There have been 9 different winners in La Liga history, but only Barca and reial have ever dominated it. But thats not to say it's never been a competative league, which makes it totally different to Scotland.

I'm not convinced that guy was even a Barca fan though. And 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I'm here and i respect you guys, is it out of order to ask for the same respect back?

See, Manhattan has seen this many times.

Whoever LFC draw in Europe, they tend to visit this site and use the same old tired posts:

1- Heysel
2- Welcome To "Hell" (IE: a large concrete bowl of a stadium).

I know how you feel though. The Barca forum i post on has been invaded by plenty of idiot chelsea fans in the last couple of years. The best thing ends up being to ban them, they bring nothing to the forum. I hope i can prove to be of worth to this this discussion.

If people mention :censored: like that, you're not a proper fan in my book. I can understand you wanting to get a gig back, but it also insults us decent fans too.

to be fair to the Barca fans, I think that 'fan' who mentioned Heysel was an Everton fan.
