From what I watched him manage the team is , one of his policy is when 30 plus he ( the player )  will only given a contract 1 year.

One of the reason why he buy Rosicky because Pires is 30 plus already .... Maybe for him , Kuty can replace Ljungberg ( 30 years old this year )

Ljungberg is 29, and he is not a striker like Kuyt, and just because he turns 30 it doesn’t mean he will be disgarded, he will just get shorter contarcts, what you said makes very little sense. Kuyt replacing Ljungberg? Strage theory.

Just like I said "maybe" ...

Every Manager have their own plan or ways ... No matter what kind of reason that we can think of, at the end of the day if the Manager manage to sign the player that he wants , he have his own reason ...

Its in the Mirror today saying that Wenger is in for him, but the price quoted is only 6 million, if it was as low as that then perhaps he would be worth a gamble.
