The Japs bombed Pearl Harbour nothing to do with us.We bombed Dresden and it was probably an over-reaction but no doubt at the time they thought it was justified ,AND IF IT SAVED ONE BRITISH SOLDIERS LIFE IT WAS.

Churchill knew that Pearl Harbour was going to be bombed and he knew that if it happened America would enter the war, it was a tactical move which cost lives. You can dress it up all you like but believe it or not there were innocent people in Germany who died in the war as well and they died for no reason, just like the French, Belgian, Americans, Russians etc. There was no victor in war, and if you're ignorant enough to play the blame game and call the Germans "baddies" then you do that. I won't and this has nothing to do with football, if you want to carry this on, you can PM me.

I wouldn't read to much into the scoreline. Pre-season is all about the players fitness, not results.

its obvious you have a problem with being English - you support MEXICO think Germany is a better team than England and that we were equally to blame for the last war. Why not just go to Mexico and stay there.

I have no problem being English, I like this country and I'm deeply fascinated by it's tradition and past. I do not think this country is to blame for any war, as it has always strived for global peace, however you cannot say there is a winner in war when lives have been lost and families torn apart by it, that's all. I'm speaking fact about the England football team, they aren't better than Germany and statistics prove this. England have better individuals, but as a compact team, the Germans are better than England by a country mile.

Shame they can't do better than Germany when it matters. Hopefully that will change under McClaren.

Yeah you did and always have done, but England are the mothers of football and yet have only won the World Cup  once, that's rather embarrassing isn't it?

Nope, not that I'm worried there seems to be a sudden surge in Mexican players plying their trade in Europe and alot of our youngsters are in the top academies, so the future looks very bright for Mexican football and our International team.

Look on the bright side, it was Englands 2-0 win over Mexico that helped us on our way to winning the world cup. So you can always say that Mexico were useful for something once.

Good to see your still living in 1966.  :D

You do realise this is 2006 don't you? If you knew your history of England, you'd know you trounced us 8-0 in the 1930's. (If I'm correct). So there you go Saint, you can live in the 1930's now.  :D

At least you can't use the "No Mexican players play in Europe" jibe.  :D

I'm not surprised, he's past it and has been for a few years now.
