LIVERPOOL VS WERDER BREMEN - Friendly

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby JoeTerp » Tue Jul 17, 2007 6:44 am

The friendly match is today, I think we have a good shot at seeing a lot of debuts in Red, and it will be our first look of the 07/08 team against tougher competition.  Who will start? how many subs at half time? is it going to be two totally different squads this time around.  Seeing as I slept through the last two, I will be glad to catch some of this one on my lunch break.

I can see rafa using two different teams each half, I'm looking forward to everyone making their debuts today and how torres does in particular (cliche i know but he cost £20m). I've only seen glimpses of Babel so I look forward to seeing him too.

According to Chris Bascombe in the Echo, Torres will only play as a late sub, if at all, and he makes it sounds like Benayoun and Babel won't play either.
