As mad as welsh wizard is, I cant understand where people decide what money we have to spend, unless we have some inside info as to Liverpool accounts, we really dont know, I understand we have players going in and out and that will determine the spending but do we really know how much we have.

rafa seems to be very shrewd in his persuit of players and will never really budge on what he seems as a reasonable price for the player he's after, he seems to offer as price a little lower the club want and then up it to his valuation and then let the player put pressure on the club to sort out the rest.......
brilliant in some ways as is shows us if the players really wants to join liverpool and gives rafa some idea of there personality.........if we have offered 8 million for Alves,(if in fact we have) and rafa wont budge over the 10 million then that doesnt mean we dont have more coffers in the kitty, is may just mean hes no mug and aint gonig to be pushed round like the the D*ck Mureen into paying well over the odds,

its only a thoery but we may have a little more money than people think, although 16+million more for Villa seems a little to much like HOPEFUL THINKING

warnock and traore will attract buyers, diao maybe not! Cheryou or however you spell it has gone for undisclosed fee prob in region of 1m.

Cisse will go on loan with 6m being quoated as a downpayment to secure him to marseilles this summer after his loan has expired in January.Talks are ongoing with that at present.

The final one Villa wanted to come to liverpool last season but Valencia put a better offer in to his former club and thats how he ended up there. The vibes are now he is desperate to play in the premiership with his close friends at the club he wanted to go to last season. Reina,Alonso and Garcia has had an influence during the world cup to persude him to put in a transfer request at Valencia. So he can't be that happy there!!

So all in all we can afford it, we do have the money and during the next 7 days you will see more developments.

All this talk of big sums of cash.. unless investment comes in very quickly i cant see it happening.. As much as i would love to.... what next liverpool to make at 50 mil pound bid for Torres??? yeah right.... we have to fund a new stadium yet...

Welshy- what planet are you on??!! Every transfer window you come out with these wild predictions but as you're usually wrong it's difficult to put any credibility to what you're saying!! ye, pretty gutted about that tbh, i was looking forward to seeing alves in a liverpool shirt but sevilla were being kunts and rafa apparently wants all signings before pre season or before we go to the swiss training camp at the end of july.
