like i said before. Kuyt has always said he won't decide his future till after the world cup. why is anybody expecting anything sooner i don't know.
my own view is that i don't think Fenyoord will sell him this year..

If they dont sell him this year (after a world cup when prices spiral) then that would be stupid.
I am not sure what his current value is but if he scores 3 goals or more in the world cup, he will be worth about 5 million more.
Feyenoord would then sell if they had any sense....probably not to us, someone like Newcastle will then stump up about 15 million.

because they have lost Kalou. they are screwed big time if they lose Kuyt also. they will struggle to make the CL next year without Kuyt and Kalou.
I think it will cost at least £12m for him no matter what happens in the world cup. Fenyoord are not silly. they are not gonna sell for some something stupid like £8m.

He probably would cost £10-£12mill but what is that for a top drawer striker? Not a lot.
And it is that price tag which is exactly why Feyenoord WILL sell him, they may have sold Kalou but if they hold onto Kuyt til his contract expires then they will get nothing for him. I think his contract may even expire next year, he signed a two year extension last summer I remember. If that is the case then keeping him would equate to them paying £10 million for one season out of him......hardly good business.

And if the Department for Work and Pensions allows him to play over here, despite never playing for his Country, then I will personally fart in each of their faces.![]()
Kuyt's contract does not expire till 2009.
I not sure if it has a release clause though.

isn't he from the Ivory Coast
aren't ivory coast in 20's rank? it would explain why he got the work permit really easily. Although he hasn't played yet for his country, i think the work permit was handed on the basis of the Ivory Coast rank in the Fifa charts.
