I hope some sense will prevail in this one. We deserve it for the impact it had on so many .. Sky reported receiving congratulatory and good will messages from people from over 70 diffreent countries.. we deserve it because it would recognise an incredible and unique achievement, the joy it brought to so many and the pure footballing spectacle it turned out to be; not even Sepp Blatter could of thought-up that one

forgive the paranoia but, im certain i could hear andy gray squelching about in his seat the other night at the mere hint of a juventus threat... not that there was any.

It is not just you, mate...
Check out these comments from Football365 yesterday:
"A year ago Liverpool squeaked past Juventus at this stage. Theirs was a cup run of underdogs, with just one comfortable tie in their whole campaign. Arsenal have been playing like confident favourites, even when they haven't had that status.
This is part of the danger for Arsenal: there has been a degree to which their progress this season has been accompanied by the triumphal march from Aida rather than the theme from Mission: Impossible that would have been more appropriate than Ring Of Fire for Liverpool last season.
Arsenal, unlike Liverpool, look like potential European champions."
Full credit to Arsenal for the way they are playing but nothing they do this season should be used to diminish what we accomplished last season!
