As have been pretty much all of the youngsters who came through the Liverpool ranks.

Stu,

weren't McMannaman, Fowler, Owen and Carragher bluenoses as well?

He was actually one of the few to come thru the ranks that isn't a former blue.

Carra, Fowler and McManaman were all blues.

MO's dad played for Everton and was a fan, MO himself however said that his dad took him to a couple of games at Goodison, but he wasn't a huge fan, and had no hesitancy joining Liverpool as a youngster, I got this from one of his books.
