Hustler, are you having a laugh about get rid of those players, just think before you type it, otherwise you will get heavy criticism from our members of this forum.

I agree with Stu here, there's no logic in that guy's post.

We would be mad to sell Owen and I would offer him a fat contract to stay. If the team improves and starts playing to Owen's strengths he'll bang in the goals. I reckon Owen has a PFA player of the season in him soon if things work out.

Kewell has been disapointing but he has been thrown into an underperforming team but with a bit of luck and more organisation he should come good.

Hyppia has struggled at times and while I wouldn't agree with stu's opinion that he's in the top 5 or 6 in the world he is still a very good player and I think we would see him back to his best if we put a pacy and reliable guy beside him.

Murphy has also had a disappointing season but he is a useful squad player and I wouldn't sell him.

I would sell Heskey but not on the grounds that you advocate. He is a middling player who never matched his early potential. He has blown his chance at a big club and I think its only fair that he moves on to the likes of Boro or Birmingham.

Hamman is a very good player but I do advocate selling him as I think we need to play a more expansive game.

i think Diao will leave Liverpool in the summer which is a bit unfair on him and he deserves another chance.

Maybe it's like an acid-test for new members, if they can cope with the rough initiation ceremony then they're welcome to keep posting. Otherwise it's only a matter of time until they get offended by Stu or Leon or (god forbid) even Chheso!!

Dalglish did you get the pm? Not sure if it worked or not, no idea how to check!

Call me soft but i felt sorry for the lad after the tirade he got after posting his 1st(And probably last) post !!!!!

My point wasn't that I agreed with him , just that who of ANY of us havsn't let rip with a load of nonsense in a post in here after a disappointing result ?

I still remember with some embarrassment texting my mate when Owen missed that penalty against Southampton this season, blasting MO and requesting we sell him and get a decent striker !!!!!!! :laugh:

baros first touch like ababy elephant? Are you talking about the same guy?
Wed keep Diao because.. well we might as well, i think he could be useful. Cheyrou would stay as would La Tallec coz they are young.
Where was biscan on your list?
Lets not dwell on what we dont like but look to what we do, too much unhappiness lately, puts me off my vanilla milkshake

im just saying that i would not get rid of Baros, the guy looks absolutely class if u ask me. Same as La Tallec. They both have a lot to learn but have even more to offer. We all agree on Heskey even though i like the guy. I always said that all he needs is to score the odd goal and hed be a great striker

Jesus Christ houllieroutplz, why on earth do you wanna get rid of such good prospects such as Le Tallec and Baros, they are only learning the game furthur.
Also, stop dissing some of the players such as Traore and Heskey, they can't help it if they suck

You can't blame Kewell when he has spent most of the season being played out of position, Cheyrou has improved this season because he was given a chance to play look at how much Baros improved this season when he started training fully and getting a chance to play.

I would agree there are a number of players who should go Heskey and Biscan top of the list but if we can't get rid of smicer it's not the end of the world as you can play him pretty much anywhere alright he ain't brilliant in any position but as a backup squad member he's not too bad.

Hyypia does need replacing, his legs are shot and he hasn't been as good as some of you believe. Hamman too, but only for tactical reasons, he's good at what he does but for us to go forward a diff style of player alongside stevie is needed. Owen and Kewell? Hustler your not thinking straight. Possible captures: Morientes, Kluivert, VDV, Carlos Alberto, Mexes, Balde and (long shot) Gallas.
