These replies get sillier by the minute!

Why arent I playng for Liverpool? Its all down to an incredible amount of LUCK! not everyone can get the chance, but his dad must drink with tommo or something, thats the only way i can see him getting in the squad.Give me a liveprool shirt anyday of the week and ill come out of the stands and show him how to play.

are you saying danny murphy is a world beater or something? HEE HEE this guy cant even hold his own d**k, never mind possession of the ball.

Facts about murphy: he cant pass as most of his passes go to the opposition, hes very slow, he tracks his man but is  100 yards behind him, he bottles out of challenges, he has no creative ability, and he's been at anfield for at least 7 years and we havent looked like a championship winning team with him in the side and never will!
hei s so average. Also, he'd never get in the chelsea, arsenal or Utd teams.
when he leaves liverpool (sooner the better) he'll be going to division 3 where he belongs.

Houllier, and heskey gone... now time for murphy.

anyone disagreeing with this is brain dead

Danny Murphy is good premierhip footballer. If you honestly believe you are better than him you are being completely stupid.

You wouldn't last 5 minutes against me, let alone Murphy.

No-one is saying Murphy is a world beater, but people recognise that he has quality in some areas of his game and when he plays well he has a positive impact on the game.

Facts about Murphy? No mate, they are a stupid knowledgeless mupptes opinions. As for saying he can't pass and has no creative ability... the season before last i remember about 18 or 19 games where he kept playing through balls which Owen, Baros and Heskey all squanderd. Also did you see the pass to set Gerrard up against Birmingham? Did you also know he's scored the winner at old Trafford 3 years running? He's also won a few cups with us and 3 our of the last 4 years he's scored 10+ goals and more than any of our other midfielders.

How many midfielders socre 10+ a season lad? go on.... on a regular basis in this league.... name them.

I'll get you started... Scholes, Ljungberg, Pires...

so jib the Murphy bashing, GET A CLUE, come back .

As for your last comment, does that mean all these people who rate Murphy, which is the majority... are brain dead?

Haha do me a favour... pot kettle black again.

AIRHEAD!!!

i think Murphy falls into Schole type of player. Murphy quite creative and i like his thru ball..he should train his shooting and speed more though..1 more thing, his penalty record is 100% for liv  :;):

well all those in favour of murphy...we'll just have to disagree on that one. he really is bad though, and this is what i see sitting in the stands last season. he just hasnt got a clue.
even against  yeovil town in the Fa cup, in the first half the yeovil midfielders were showing murphy how to pass and move.

when you watch him play, normally when he gets the ball, instead of looking forward when theres 20 yards for him to surge forward, he'll just lay it off 10 yards to to the nearest player to avoid responisbility.he'll just lay it out wide. its like watching paint dry. this is why stevie g has to work so hard in midfield all the time.
even he said we need a few good players.

As for 10 goals plus per season, he doesnt do that every year and probably only scored 1 or 2 this year. no where near your scholes' or pires. he aint fit to lick their boots.

No mess i am a better player than murphy, and if moores and parry are watching, give me a red shirt and ill show u all.

Im telling you, you can tell murphy is poo, casue in most games he's involved in, you dont even know he's on the pitch.

Stu, stop being deluded by players, just cause they wear a red shirt. the fact is they are not worthy. If i recall you were defending Houllier to the death, and then he got the boot.

got to say i used to see a lot of Murphy when he played for crewe. He was a diamond in a very sub standard team back then. But saying that i always thought he could make it in the  top flight, with a team like southampton, coventry at the time...but my beloved Liverpool .i was shocked and very surprised.

Yes mate you're better than Murphy. :D

Thats why you aren't even playing proffesionally for a 3rd divison club and he's playing in one of the best 4 sides in the country and has played in a superb side which got into the last 8 in europe.

Also, why am i deluded? What makes me so deluded that i think Murphy is a good player. I never said he was in Scholes class... if you actually read any of my posts you'd see how i rate Scholes and Murphy and a host of other players.

As for Murphy scoring 1 or 2. Listen kiddo, he scored 7. He hasn't been in the side this season and he's still scored more than Steven Gerrard, infact i'm going to be generous and say it was 8 because against Aston Villa at home i don't believe the ball hit Delaney, i reckon it hit Murphy on the shin, i've never seen the replay but thats what it looked like from where i was.

Then there was the season before last where he scored 13, got player of the season and got 14 assists. You telling me thats the sign of a bad player? Get real.

The two seasons prior to that he scored 10 goals. If he's in the team he regularly scores double figures. And if you're a bad player you don't do that in the premiership.

ok then, so seeing as murphy is up there with the best and he's doing a good job, then why are we playing poorly in games, mainly in midfield where there is no creation or thrust. why are we losing 6 home games in a season, why are we 30 points from the top and less from bottom.
Why have u got fans Booing players off the pitch, screaming for change cause they are sick of performances? Its cause of the likes of these players, the reason they are booing!
Is this because the likes of murphys' doing a good job?

Ive never once watched him play and been impressed!

Im telling you he should be next out.! in fact i bet you are Danny in disguise logging on to pleae for the  new boss to save his job

Yeah, i'm pretty amused.  Well funny.  Imagine if Maradona and Pele ran into each other at 100mph and morphed into the complete footballer.

Well, i'm better than him!!!

(Nah, me and my girlfriend (she posts in the Euro 2004 section of this forum - ozzy1980) went for a kickabout round the local park last week and after 20 mins, I was knackered, I had to go in goal!!!  I was a good player in my teens, trialled with Blackpool FC for a bit and Luton Town sent a scout up to watch me a couple of times but I was not committed enough!!!  That's life!!!)

I've laid off this forum since Friday.  It's now Sunday night so i've missed all the weekend banter.

It's good to be back!!!!

Hustler you're a weird one.  You're better than Murphey?  ******.  If you're better than a premiership player how come you don't even play for a third division side?  You just think you're better because you probably make less mistakes in whatever comp you play in.  But rest assured the quality of your comp is definately well below that of the premiership and so it seems to you like you are a better player.  Take the example of Mark Macaleese.  In the comp I play in (Queensland Premiere League) he is absolutely top of the pile but if you put him in a top European competition he would definately look a lot worse.  Murphey isn't a world beater but he is definately better than you.

I assume your joking BoogiePimp?

Lol.

He's a ****** player but he can still score 19 more goals in the last 4 seasons than Gerrard.

He also has 11 more assists in that period. :)

exactly.

danny murphy is an extremely valuable asset to our squad. 8-10 goals a season is extremely respectable for a midfielder who is by no means a first team regular.

by the way, diouf is lazy and overrated. i'm better than him. :D  :p
