Cisse off? - Should we sell him?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I don't rate Cisse at all but Crouch and Morientes as a front two have no pace. We need a striker with pace (obviously not cisse, somebody who has a brain and can control a ball). Give Pongolle a run until we find somebody better.

Sell Cisse for whatever we can get
Play Pongolle with Crouch for 5 games and then Morientes for 5 to see which is a better mix.

get a good forward (dont rate any of ours that highly) in January. There'll be one good one on show at Anfield this weekend!!!!

Moro and Crouch seem to working okay at the moment but backup is needed and I dont think Cisse is the answer

He has pace and a good shot but his link up play and touch is bad

the game against sau paulo was further proof that we still desperately need an out and out goalscorer. too many times this season we've dominated games and just failed to take our chances (boro, spurs, crystal palace) to name but a few. our strikers all have their strengths but none of them are hardly prolific infront of goal.

having said that, strikers who will guarantee you 20 goals a season are like goldust these days and would generally cost a fortune. personally, i'd take a chance with dean ashton. he's far too good to be playing in the championship.

We need a PROVEN PREMIERSHIP goalscorer who will score 20 LEAGUE goals a year.

If only there was a young but experienced centre forward who wanted to play for Liverpool and knew the area so they'd settle in quickly and were in a poor team now and would love to come here. :D

look, until we get an offer of 9-10 million, he's going nowhere.  Why?  Because Rafa doesn't NEED to sell him.  He's a handy squad player and Rafa won't allow us to lose the money on Cisse, like we did with Diouf.

cisse wants to play the world cup and rafa don't seems to believe on him, it's simple, a loan is the only solution for liverpool

Our Cisse aint going anywhere on the cheap.Rafa`s a shrewd man,i wouldnt be surprised if Marseilles or Lyon end up paying 15million Euro for him.

impossible as i told you  :(
the loan is the better solution, i explain myself...:
if he continues with liverpool he won't participate to the world cup, if he's loaned, his popularity will grow, he'll do the world cup and rafa will sell him at a good price

Cissé want to play before the world cup, so a loan to Marseille (UEFA cup) is the better solution for Liverpool! he will come back better in summer 2006  :eyebrow
