Will rafa remain stubborn till january?

He seems like a stubborn bugger when he wants to be and wont admit when he is wrong and swallow his pride for the sake of the side, I cant see him giving Cisse a run of games either when we clearly need goals. I also expect Morientes to start against Blackburn, I just hope he is not upfront on his own 3 points needed please in every game from now till January, we have nearly everyone back from injury and we can match any outfit in the prem on our day.
Time to start winning guys.

i also can't believe we let baros go for a  like crouch..... All those morons who said he scored 15 goals for southampton and all...i guess they are happy now.

agree completely.......we sud have never sold baros........just because he expressed his feelings for not starting in the carling cup final......honestly i feel that's why rafa sold him.

baros was a head down merchant and i always felt that his heart wasnt truly at liverpool...after euro 2004 he was chattin on about dream moves to barce and that so he was never goin to stay at us for ages was he? cisse might well be scoring for france but internationals and premiership football are 2 different ball games.

Rafa may have won our everlasting affection for the pieces of sparkling silver he gave us last season BUT the honeymoon is over . I don't expect him to deliver a premiership trophy within the next 3-4 years in fact the way things are looking I don't expect him to EVER bring us a premiership trophy ,   I do however expect him to give us  champions league football  each and every season , the fact that we gloriously won Europe's top team trophy last season disguises the fact that in regular week to week competition (the premiership) we were/are downright average finishing a miserable 5th last season. Indeed if it wasn't for the miracle in Istanbul we wouldn't now have Champions League football and all the attendant kudos and money that it brings . My main worry at the moment is that apart from being a team with no wingers who are employing a £7 million "no goal so far" solitary striker (:D  yeah, I used the word striker advisedly) up front to feed off non existent crosses and provide knock downs for equally non existent supporting players  , apart from that my main worry is we are not going to finish in the top four this season and in my opinion that is unacceptable for a team of our stature . We know that Rafa is no mug but right now I an totally baffled by many of his decisions and I'm becoming less and less impressed with his response to some of the problems we are facing .

Firstly  I was under the considered opinion that Rafa was given 5 years to produce a team capable of playing  progressive winning football ,and not a honeymoon period that consists  of just one season  and a handful of games .
It was only a matter of time when the  whiners couldn’t refrain from biting their tongues  any longer and poured their scorn  in Rafa’s  direction .
We all have the same aspirations,  just be practical success  wont come overnight because in the  current climate Chelsea  our running roughshod over the rest , lets be serious  it took Chelsea half a century and only when the  richest benefactor ever to taint our shores  took them under his shady wings  to attain a premiership title.
Im not having a pop at anyones expense  I admire your passion but just bite into that tongue a little longer perhaps judge Rafa after another season  ,but to offer Benitez such a scant amount of time is disparaging  to say the least .
Ok Crouch hasn’t  set the world alight but he wasn’t bought as an out and out striker  he is a channel to bring other strikers into play  and he does that  efficiently  enough  for  real fans to realise  how effective he can be .
Garcia is an enigma but he has Rafa’s  unflinching faith one thing  is for sure is the lad gives 100% and never stops running  and trying  to bring people into the game even when he’s met with a   crescendo of moans every time he loses  possession .
Sissoko will be a revelation  this season  Pongolle  likewise and if anyone has watched the reserves  this season  will have noticed  Rafa can pick a player because Barragan and Hobbs  are special to name just two .
So can we give the man another season  before we lose hope  entirely, after all we have one of the most respected and coveted  coaches in  world football it would be a shame to let some fans impulsiveness overshadow what could be an eventful season .

Well put, but a top 4 finish is a must this season and the way we are playing at the moment, it doesn't look like were gonna achieve it.  IMO we have to start playing Cisse with Crouch, i acknowledge that he hasn't (Cisse) set the world alight yet but with Gerrard injured we've got no threat and teams aren't exactly afraid of us going forward anymore.
