Starting line up for CL FINAL:Dudek,Finnan,JC,Hyppia,Traore,Riise,Stevie,Xabi,Hamann,Cisse,Garcia.Let's hope cisse is fit.I thought Harry was quality against chelsea if he"d been around more he would definetly start,but he could be the ace up are sleeve in the final.

Agree, its amazing.....his first game back from injury is the champions league semi final, and te last game he played before that was the Worthington Cup FINAL!! And please correct me if im wrong but didnt he just recently come back from injury for or a few games before that final???

I think i would start with Riise ,he has been there for us all season and has done really well.
He has better defensive qualities than Kewell which will be tested against Milan.
He has physically fit and strong ,he might not be quite as effective going forward but still has plenty to offer.
He will run his socks off for us and is more than capable to do the job in Istanbul.
Harry on the other hand will bring us more attacking flair in theory , i would be tempted to bring him on during the second half if we needed to go looking for a goal.

I still prefer Kewell play as left midfield, Riise played as Full back and off load Troare

i think it realli depends on how the game goes, if we are in need of a goal, traore will be sub by kewell, with riise at LB, if we are into defending a lead... maybe kewell will play the role like in chelsea game...

For the final I say go with what you know and in terms of this season (which is after all what we are doing) I think you cannot go past Riise. He gets the nod from me to start but Kewell has looked much better since returning from 'injury' (or paid holiday or whatever the hell its been) so he makes the bench for me, but go with the more consistent talents of Riise

Definitely Riise. Strong, energetic, good on the ball, have a lot pace and opportunist. He was unlucky and selfish last nite. If that was a goal then we might play differently after that. We should sell Kewell. He's lazy.
