At the moment, everything revolves around SG, just like it did with Owen. He isn't even playing well at the moment. We would still have Alonso, and the money to buy more. However, the team needs to start performing, if we are to attract the quality of players we need. They will not come to LFC if we are not in Europe next year.
To me it feels that SG is holding the club to ransom. If he is so commited to the club, then let him prove it. Ever start playing the way we know he can play, or sign a 1 year extension to his contract.

The Return of the Judge wrote:no one has the right to criticise someone like SG. My reason for this is simple : like any job, no matter how much you like it, we all strive to better ourselves, even if it means leaving what we love to achieve. i wouldnt blame SG if he left lfc, i would blame lfc for not fullfilling his and our dreams of total glory

Yes, but if I kept telling my boss that the rest of his staff weren't up to my standard, my company car wasn't good enough, and my bonuses need to be looked at, I think I know what would happen.
